Color match rims

I just want to see if anyone has color match rims on their truck, I really want to do mine, but worried if I'm going to hate it

 

I found this on the internet.

 

My question is should I try it?

 

I'm going to do a plasti dip base as I always do to make it removable.

Fuel octanes same rims as what I have.
