2012 Suburban - Night Time IP lights out of sync

I have a 2012 Suburban with manual HAVC controls. At night when I start the truck, the HVAC IP lights go into daylight mode. Any adjustment to the dimmer or other lighting controls will place the HVAC controls to the same brightness as the other instrument panels.

1) Daytime -> Night - transitions perfectly

2) Night -> Daytime - transitions perfectly

3) Nighttime -> Acc Mode - instrument panel lights correct

4) Nighttime -> Crank - instrument panel lights out of sync

Dealer replaced - master light switch, BCM and HVAC control.
