18 Inch Bright Machined Aluminum Wheels

Recommended Posts

Does anybody have these? I personally like these better than the 20 in snowflake wheels which almost everyone seems to have but have searched many dealers both in person and on the web and have yet to find a single truck with the 18's. Why would it be so hard to find one on a dealer lot? What would make this such an uncommon option / configuration?

I've always thought a smaller wheel with a larger tire just looks better than the opposite and really like the look of these 18's but have yet to see one in person. Also would have better selection and option of tires. Anybody running these, if so did you have to special order?

Nice truck and I like that color. Very close to what I'm looking for, with the 6.2 of course :driving: I wonder if it's a regional thing, where just depends which part of the country your in, but think those are the sharpest looking wheels GM has made in quite some time. Not to big, not to small and leaves plenty of tire sizes and options to pick from.

I like a wheel that is easy to clean - that looks like it fits the bill. When I went looking for 18's in a P-rated tire for another rig - very limited in the size I wanted. I think it's just the other way around - more sizes in 20's these days............

When I build a vehicle on GMC website, and select these wheels it says I have to have the All Terrain package? Is that true, these are only available with All Terrain?

Also other than size and overall appearance is there any appreaciable differnece between the these 18 inch bright machined aluminum and the 20 inch Polished aluminum wheels? (resistance to corrosion, pitting, etc..) What's the difference between polished and bright machined?
