433Mhz TPMS

Hi. I have a 2015 Silverado LS that I am going to put a new set of wheels/tires on. I purhased a set of GM sensors that were supposed to be 315MHz from Ebay but got GM sensors that are 433Mhz. I also have a EL-50448 relearn tool.

Will these 433MHz TPMS sensors work on my 2015 Silverado?

Thanks for the help.

Well, I may have answered my own question. I removed the drivers side tire (not even sure if I had too) and put it aside. I placed the system in TPMS relearn mode. I tried reading/activating the new 433 Mhz sensor a couple times and was unsuccessful. I guess I'll exhange them for some 315 mhz sensors, unless someone else has another suggestion.

I had new rims put on mine with the 315 sensors. I used this tool

Dont know if this is what you have but mine says it works on the 315 and 433. Maybe try it again. Programming the first tire went fine but doing the other 3 took a good amount of times

Yes basically the same one except it's orange. I think the problem is that the radio receiver in the truck can only read 315 mhz signals. The remote runs on the same frequency. My Silverado was also built with RPO XL7 (listed on the glove box sticker) which means FREQUENCY RATING 315 MHZ.

When I was buying the tool I had to check the sensor added by custom offsets as well as the stocks so I would be able to use the tool on both when switched out for winter. All of mine are 315 so I should be golden. As far as my reading all Silverados are 315. Vehicles like the volt are 433. My guess would be like you stated they aren't able to talk to each other. I did find an article on why they got rid of the deflate the tire relearn method. Crazy how with a good amount of know how this can be hacked
