SUV blows up when woman lights cigarette

The Kia Sorento went BOOM when she lit a cigarette. My first thoughts was how dumb some people can be. The next thought was a thread on here about a month ago about smoking in our vehicles. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/203739-how-many-people-smoke-legal-stuff-in-their-new-truck/

I bet a hundred bucks that they have a "ringing in the ears" problem.

Ok. Non life threatening injuries. That's good.

Now who do you think they'll sue? Kia for sure. The grill manufacturer. The propane tank marketer. The cigarette lighter company. The tobacco conglomerate. And the local gas company, just for craps and giggles. Each one will say, geez it'll take $100k to defend, so we'll offer $50k to settle.

And the Darwin Awards miss another one...

Darwinism at its finest...

The Orlando Police Department said a driver and a passenger were driving a Kia Sorento with a barbecue grill inside.

Police said the grill, which was turned on, had a propane tank attached that was open and connected.

The passenger in the front seat lit a cigarette, police said, and that's when the explosion happened.

So what, Stan? Do you want a pat on the back or something?

I don't need one. Just sitting with my coffee deciding with one of my 5 cars I'm going to drive today, two are Hyundais.
