Chrome delete questions and tips?

Having trouble finding any info on this. I have a 2017 2500HD ltz z71 and I am not a fan at all of any of the chrome trim on the doors, the handles and the chrome bezel piece on the hood scoop. Anyone replaced all these before to color match? I am sure some have, I have the factory white color. I went around my local area trying to get quotes from vehicle wrap and paint shops but they all don't recommend going either of those routes due to paint and vinyl failure and color matching issues. So do any of you guys have good sites where to order some factory white replacements for the door body mold pieces and the handles and the chrome bezel for the hood scoop? Or what other route have some of you guys went that did these mods? Thanks for any help and insite!

I have a half ton, but the parts you mention are the same with exception of the hood scoop.

I found painted handles on Craigslist and swapped them. Also found moulding on Craigslist. After removing the chrome, I liked the look without and ended up selling the white moulding.

There was a dealership selling the moulding on eBay (Bill Cramer, Panama City, FL). Not sure if they still do.

White seems to be the hardest color door handles to find. Not many swap them for chrome.

Thanks for the response. Good to know the parts for the 1500 and the 2500 are the same for the moldings so that should make it easier to find some replacements. Are the door handles the same as well? I actually have found some door handles on eBay. The hardest issue I am having is finding ANY info on the chrome hood scoop bezel and how to go about if someone sells a placement bezel for it in white or if a vinyl wrap is my only option?

Handles are the same on both, in both double and crew cabs. They are also the same on the Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon.

Google it.. there's a lot of places you can by gm parts or aftermarket parts

Yeah I am having better luck now that I know the parts are the same. As far as that hood scoop though, still nothing I can find anywhere. Thanks for the help.

There's a guy here that has painted his scoop a neon green. You could remove yours and have it painted.

The paint shops where telling me that the paint job would not last long because that piece is a sort of plastic? And they don't recommend it. I will defiantly look more into that option though.

Try a carbon fiber wrap or other black/dark grey on the hood scoop bezel. Would look better than the chrome.

Find a new paint shop...

You will need to buy a new trim piece for a blacked out Z71 package Silverado as it is painted vs chrome, it should come bare so the body shop can prep and paint it.

Couple more questions since I have been searching. So what series years for the Silverado is the same? Trying to find this out so I can broaden my search results. Also are there different shades of white for different years? I keep seeing "summit white" would this be what I'm looking for on my 2017? Or where is the paint code located on my truck so I can look it up.thanks again. I have tried to use the search bar on this forum but it won't give me any results for any of the stuff I enter.
