Aftermarket Headlight Bulvs

Recommended Posts

Can anyone remark about the LED light conversions? I was going to buy some HID bulbs but these look much easier to install. I'm sure there are some minor cutoff issues. Adversely, the anszo replacement housings? The projectors look small; however, LED seems to not need a large housing and projector.

Ah lol. On my 2015 HD when I had it I did the Xenon Depot H11 (low) and 9005 (high) LEDs on my stock headlamps. What a difference! Worth the $$$, and you can with some patience tuck everything into the headlamp assembly.

So, CuzznVinny, are these just plug and play? Or is there something else needed to make these work? Did you change the high beam bulbs to match? Sorry for all the questions, just really considering trying these.

yes plug in play. I have the canbus adapters, so the DRL work perfect.

It was a tight squeeze getting the cover back on the back of the light with the heatsink.

I shaved down the little plastic nub in the center of the cover to make it fit without forcing.

The bulb, transformer and canbus box are all inside the headlight fixture.

They are also clockable, to get the cutoff just right.

Looks like they have and updated "pro" version with a different heatsink tho

They've been running everyday for a few months now.

Never got around to doing the high beams yet

How is the light color? I want to upgrade but I hate the look of the blue leds. I want a nice bright white color. Yours look to be a nice white color in the pic.

^^^ What he said! I bought the same setup (based on his advice) and I'm very happy with them. I did the highs, lows, and fogs.

Have these and love em.

I have those too, and I'm very pleased. I'd recommend their replacement high beams and fogs too. Much better color than the stock halogens.

  • 2 weeks later...

So i'm looking to do the led conversion.

appears the http://www.xenondepot.com/H11-Xtreme-LED-kit-pro-p/xt-led-H11-pro.htm, according to THAT page, is the foglamp conversion.

I see in my 2017, the low beam is the H11, the high beam is the HB3 U 9005. So which one do i need for the low beam, and which one for the high beam?

I had to HID lights in my 2015. The factory lights were so bad it was actually dangerous to drive with them. I love the HID's but the only problems I have is that 1) the On Star report comes and says something like headlights malfunction 2) My state inspection station says it's illegal to have after market HID'S.

Is anyone else having these issues?
