The new 2018 Ford Super Duty debuted at the Texas State Fair today. The big news is the Limited version of the truck. The F-250 Super Duty limited will start at just over $80K. The F-350 Super Duty Limited starts at just over $82K. The F-450 Super Duty Limited starts at just over $87K. It is possible to option up an F-450 Super Duty Limited to just about $96K. If you live in a state with a vehicle sales tax of over 5%, it will be possible to write a check for over $100K for a pickup truck in 2018.

WOW! We have people buying 200K Duramax's around here for 25K because they know it's good to go for another 300-400K!

Did I ever tell you? The only thing I like about FERD's are well, actually nothing!

Looks sweet

sure, it looks sweet, until you have a heart attack from seeing the sticker price, as well as the cost of parts! (those LED headlights with the LED DRLs that look like a bracket? $1,100 A PIECE. the price of that 6.7L Powerstroke V8 and a Turbocharger: $16,000 for the PARTS ALONE, and because they've stuffed that engine compartment like a sardine can, the cab has to be ripped off the frame for any decent access and that REALLY adds up the Labor cost!)

Yeah I'd never get the diesel.

essentially, these overpriced trucks are for the owner of a company as a status symbol; they will NEVER see dirt, they will NEVER see any real work.
