2003 Silverado Z71 stereo swap with 07+ Silverado?

I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado Z71 and it has the bose system in it but the factory radio doesn’t have the aux port option. I was wondering if it was possible to swap a newer Silverado/Sierra radio 07-13 (with an aux port) into it and still be able to listen to the oem Bose speakers. The speakers sound beautiful but I’m not able to enjoy my tunes from my iPhone through them. Will it be possible to do this swap? If not then what is the cheapest way of getting an aux port directly connected to the radio? Don’t really like the Bluetooth adapters that you plug into your cigarette lighter outlet and just use the radio frequencies because it doesn’t get the full sound quality and is really crappy sounding in my opinion. Btw it doesn’t have the steering wheel controls option.

The two are not compatible. Do you have XM in your 03?  If so, you can tap into the XM feed and have aux that way. You don't have to have an XM subscription, just the hardware.

a FM modulator if you want to keep factory radio, not the best option. best would be aftermarket radio. the prices have come down on integration parts for you computer comms in vehicle.
