Picked up a amazing 2003 Silverado 2500HD Crew Cab 6.6 Duramax diesel with 21k miles.  Yes, 21k miles.  Truck was purchased for hauling a horse and horse trailer but after 1-2 yrs the owner sold the horse and truck sat most of the time.  What I know from older low mileage vehicles, seals/gaskets/anything rubber starts to fail.  Truck runs perfect, but what should I start replacing?  Was going to start with engine/trans/diff oil, brake fluid flush, oil/fuel filters.  Noticed 1 shock leaking, so might just replace them all.  Tires have plenty of tread but cracking so want to replace them.  The wheels are the base steel wheels and wanted to replace with newer model 18" or 20".  I know adapters are needed , any particular thickness for the adapters?  Interior is base model which sucks with no PW or PL and vinyl seats.  Any one ever installed PW and PL?  I see kits out their but not sure if reliable.  Please let me know if I'm missing anything to replace.

As for wheels. 2010- and you will not need adaptors. 2011+ is when the pattern changed.
