New to the Forum and starting with a tough one

Hey guys and gals, I'm Luke and I have been a die hard GM guy my whole life, shoulda found this place a long time ago but I'm here now with a fairly difficult request. 

 

I want to customize my back window of my 2012 sierra so that the whole window can open. I believe the Tundra has the power rear slider. I don't care about power, I just want to be able to remove it or flip it up or down and get it out of the way. Any ideas or advice would be much appreciated. Maybe you have seen some things done or actually done them yourself. Anything can help.

I think there was a company back in the ‘90s that made a removable rear window for trucks.
