Has anybody tried a bull bar on the front of their 2500? Are there any fairly sturdy ones out there, or are they more of a show piece rather than something functional.

I have one on my 17. More of a showpiece. Will be getting a new bumper soon.

Well, if you are serious about critter protection, you have a few choices.  Here are two brands......

Dakota Hills...

One off bumpers I had made, they were designed to match the sides of the flares; so flares don’t stick out on front( I HATE that look).

I would buy that. I would like a bumper that doesn’t dip down. Many of the aftermarket bumpers have a slope in them. Reminds me of an old Lamborghini character you got at the state fair.

Haha agreed. This is thick as well, it’s made to withstand Canadian elements haha
