'18 Denali HD Grille on a '16 Sierra Denali HD

Had a truck back into me and now need a new grille and hood for my '16 Sierra Denali HD.

 

I will likely go with the' 18 hood, but does anyone know if the '18 grille will mount to the '16 front end with no issues? Parts catalogs online don't have the '18 parts yet, so can't see what the tabs, etc. look like.

2015-2017 use the same grille (LML to L5P), 2018 is just a new insert to the old outer.  So yes, the 2018 grille would go right in place of the one you have on your 2016. 

 

Nothing has changed exterior wise on the HD's 2015-2018 other than the grille design on certain trucks (Chevy Z71 and Chevy High Country, and GMC Denali got new designs), GMC got HID lights in 2016, and the hoods on the diesels.

I've got an 18 on order and I'm actually going the other direction. I'm putting a 17 grill on my 18.
