RC 3.5 Tire Size

Recommended Posts

I've been searching through all kinds of threads but not really seeing my answer--does anyone have an RC 3.5 with 18's and what did you choose for tires?

Shop says I could run 33x12 on 18" wheel +18 offset at most--but then recommended I buy a 285/65/18. I'm currently on a 2" level with 275/75/16 -- not sure why getting another 1.5" of height would require me going to a smaller tire now.

Is it not possible to do a 305/65/18 which should be 33x12? Wheels are Method NV +18 offset.

I am replacing the upper control arms.

I'm running 295/70R18 on my 2016 with a 3.5, measure about a 34.5 by 12, oknly rubs on the control arm at full lock, stock offset. Really fills the wheel wells nice, gives a beefier look. d85b1be4550b3e317442d22bf93407dc.jpg

What is your fender height from ground? I’m trying to determine if truck is still less than 7 feet tall.

I am told I should gain 1.5” from my current 2” lift height.
