Lost a set of keys

I misplaced a set of my keys and fob last week, It was my spare set but has turned out to be quite costly. I'm sure they are around the house but I went a head and bought a spare key today at the dealership. Cost was 48 bucks and it should have been simple to program but ended up being a pain in the butt. I'll wait around a few weeks to see if they show up before I order a new fob. I hate brain farts! rant over

I think keys run a little more around me. I was gonna get a third spare to stick under the truck, but decided to get a tank of gas instead and not lock the keys in the truck

Fobs are cheap, you can get oem on amazon

ye, but you have to get someone with a programming tool to get them to work. That's another 70 bucks.

Yea I bought a spare and keep it hid for back up. There expensive and i had to show them proof of truck ownership and insurance card before they would cut it. It was on a special machine , he said GM was getting strict about new keys being made.
