Ground wire locations???

Recommended Posts

Just an FYI. I found my problem. There is a large gage connector behind the glove box with one red and one black wire. The connection was bad at this connector which caused me to lose ground on everything with the HVAC system. New connection and we're back in business.

Yes, and that connector is grounded to a stud on the inside upper far right of the firewall. That should only affect the HVAC system though. If nothing in the truck is working check your negative cables on the battery and starter. Also check the body ground strap on the frame just forward of the firewall on the passenger side.

#Geez I need to read more carefully, I guess you already found your problem# :)
