Texas Parks & Wildlife Exp

Recommended Posts

Just wanted to let everyone know about the TPWD Expo on Oct. 1 & 2, 9-5pm at the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department headquarters complex in southeast Austin.

I'll probably be volunteering at the Archery Shooting Range. Heres some info.

What is the Texas Parks & Wildlife Expo? It's an outdoor experience where visitors fish, shoot, kayak, rock climb, mountain bike, see and touch wildlife, learn about recreation in the Great Outdoors and see and buy the latest in outdoor gear and services. Most importantly, visitors can learn how they can help to conserve this precious resource. And it’s free!

Presented by Texas Parks and Wildlife and a coalition of conservation organizations, agencies and sponsors, Expo celebrates the diversity of the outdoors experience in Texas. From camping and outdoor skills to shooting sports and fishing, from bird watching to paddle sports, Expo visitors have an opportunity to try their hands at two full days of fun in the outdoors.
