How bout them Golden Hurricanes. C-USA champs and a win over Fresno in the liberty bowl. Damm ESPN announcers was talkin smack thru 1/2 the game at how great Fresno is/was. Poor Tulsa was just out matched. Never gonna compete. Guess we showed them

Tulsa is for real.

 

Yeah they gave Tulsa no chance to win.....then they were all " I can't believe how tuff and hard they are playing Fresno State." Like we were going to be some easy div 2 school with small players.

 

But TU has improved 4 fold the last 2 or 3 years under Kragthorpe. Tulsa players are mostly just Oklahoma guys that didn't get gobbled up by OU, OSU.

Most of them came from Jenks or Union HS here in Tulsa.
