Gauge Cluster Recall

Be carefull of sites online that claim to rebuild your cluster when they are only replacing bulbs and stepper motors. 2003 and 2004 cluster have 5 known issues: bad gauges, dim or dead backlighting, dim or dead PRNDL, bad solder joints and faulty power supplies. 2005,2006 and early 2007 models have up to 3 of those issues. The power supplies must be updated with the proper GM diagnostic and flashing tools and all other issues resolved unless you want to have problems in the future. Also make sure they repair shop is using only x25.168 or x27.168 stepper motors. The x27.168 motors are replacing the x25.168's because of the increased cost to manufacture them. There are other clones out there that are NOT approved by GM. Send your cluster to http://gmgaugerepair.com/ and avoid further issues. Have it rebuilt once and be done with it!
