Gmc Rear Wheel Well Liners

For anyone interested GM makes a nice set of rear wheel well liners for

the HD trucks. I have a 2008 GMC 2500HD Extended, 6.5 box. The parts

are available for Chev and GMC. My GMC part number was 19166677.

The kit comes with all install hardware. Retail for about $99, I paid $89.10

from local Chev dealer.

The liners can be installed without removing stock tires. Push the liner in

above each tire. They fit tight and perfect. Three plastic retainer plugs

in the existing holes at the top of the rear fender opening, 4 5/16 inch

self tapping screws, two on the front side, two on the back through existing

holes in the liner. Total time about 30 min for the whole thing. The look

is very finished and nice.

I would check with a GM parts counter to be sure. I know the GMC for 07 and 08 are different part numbers from Chevy. I really like mine and the fit is well engineered.

Are there any available for 99-2007 classic? I remember somewhere I saw someone making them in there garage, but I would love some from G.M. Thanks for any info.

If there not available from G.M. is there someone that knows where to get aftermarket ones?

I imagine the parts counter even at list is less than having these shipped. One site I looked at wanted $50+ for shipping $85 liners! They come in a very large box.

Got my GMC from local Chev dealer, he got them in two days. The kit comes with all install hardware. Retail for about $99, I paid $89.10. At this price, why order on line!!

As a GM employee I have access to check GM Employee cost and the plastic wheel house liners part number 19166677 are $69.30 GM Employee cost. the problem I'm having is that they are a dealer only part unless you buy online and my local dealers will only give me 10% off for being a GM Employee. Same goes with the Slim Tailgate cap part number 17802389, this part is only $24.50 GM cost.
