How Long Does It Take A Bed Liner To Cure

Recommended Posts

I had my spray-in bedliner installed today.

I had planned to do a wash/clay bar/wax tomorrow.

How long should I wait for the bed liner to cure before I get it wet, stand in it, or wax near it?

The job was done through the dealer, and the salesman said to wait 24 hours before I close the tail gate, and 48 hours before heavy use.

Any thoughts?

nice truck to look at tho!!

is that the deep cherry metallic color (looks purple right?)

Sure is. I was slightly concerned with the implications, but I figured I could get away with it down here... being an LSU alum in Tiger Country. I'm planning to add some subtle yellow mods (calipers, bow tie) to make it a little more clear.

My dark blue metallic sometimes has a purple look to it depending on how the sun hits it.

Yeah, you can see that around your tail light in your signature picture.

Mine is purple no matter how the sun hits it. In the shade it almost looks black.
