  1. Looks like they have lowered the price. They are a dollar a piece now. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-X-5050-White-SMD-DC-12V-Car-15-30CM-LED-Strip-Light-IP65-Waterproof-Black-FPC-/400458126298?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5d3d2a13da
  2. I finished mine this weekend too. The strips from ebay are great! Best under-5-dollar-mod I have ever seen.
  3. Are those H.I.D's in your fogs? If so, you are the only other person with yellow H.I.D's that I have seen
  4. I said earlier that I would update the thread when I received the chinese LED strips and comment on their quality. They arrived today, the 22nd, when they were supposed to arrive anywhere between Jan 31 - Feb 19. They do have 3m tape on the back side and they also seem to be made of mostly silicone as they are very flexable. All LEDs fired correctly. I like these units better than the ones the original poster linked to not only because of the price, but these are on black PCB's so if you had to mount these where someone could see them, they wouldn't look out of place at all. I can't wait to get out and install these but currently the 0 degree weather outside isnt promoting any work haha. I will update this thread when I get these installed and let you all know if I am still happy with these. In case you missed it earlier, here is the link to the cheap ones I purchased. http://www.ebay.com/itm/5050-White-SMD-DC-12V-Car-15-30CM-LED-Strip-Light-IP65-Waterproof-Black-FPC-/170978343505
  5. With the rear seats....did you run the power from the same wire as the front? Any pics of the rear install?
  6. I have not. I was going to buy some from rideglow on ebay for 12, but by the time I wanted to purchase them they raised the price to 75.xx and made me mad. I figured for 3 dollars and change it couldn't hurt. If they go bad then I will purchase from another seller. I would say that all the led strips you see on ebay are made in China though, just maybe a different factory pumping them out. I haven't received mine yet, when I do I will reply back to this thread and let everyone know of their quality. On a side note, I purchased some CREE led backup lights from China and they work great! Just had to modify the plastic base of the bulb a little bit. I talked about that in another thread. I saved 40-ish dollars doing that. I wouldn't be surprised if these led strips are decent quality either.
  7. I got my LED's from ebay for $3.28 shipped from China. The seller was flyfitter2011. Can't believe I got these this cheap, one seller was wanting $75 for the same type led strips! Here's a link to the auction. http://www.ebay.com/itm/5050-White-SMD-DC-12V-Car-15-30CM-LED-Strip-Light-IP65-Waterproof-Black-FPC-/170975102611?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27cee90693
  8. How would you suggest cutting into the factory wiring harness? Using a wire tap with quick disconnect or just cutting and slicing the normal way?
