  1. I installed Bilstein 5100 in the rear today. Purchased at www.shockwarehouse.com (great price, free shipping!). New shocks fit perfect. 21mm socket and wrench was all I needed. took about 30 mins to do both. Quick drive was all i needed to notice a great improvement. Much more settled and crisp response. Damping is spot on. Very happy. Will be doing the front next!
  2. Have a shock question for all of us with a L9H/NHT package. I have the regular 4x4, so no Z71. 67K on it. Wondering what you guys have done for shock upgrades (no lift no leveling). Fox? Bilstein? Very interested in what the ride was like after the change from stock/factory shocks.
  3. Hey "ex-150", that is sorta what I was thinking, but wanted to ask. Thought I read somewhere a guy claimed 1mpg better. You use Amsoil in your diff's? Thanks. '12 Sierra 4x4 SLT 6.2l 3.73(NHT) BBP tuned.
  4. With the NHT pkg/ 3.73 & 9.5" rear end, anyone with this configuration on their L9H running Amsoil in front and rear diff? Did you see any jump in mileage? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I will get some pics up as soon as the sloppy salt filled Minneapolis roads clear up. BTW, today was the first day above 40 since sometime last November…dry roads, one of the first times I have really been able to let this thing gallop…me likeee.
  6. Just found this forum. Love it. Had a 09 5.3 cc, 3.42 4x4 BBP tune. Stumbled on a '12 w/6.2 NHT,3.73. Factory GM CK988 rims. Same exact truck, just 3 years newer , less miles, and the magnificent and wonderful 6.2!! Wasn't really looking but it was sitting at a Ford dealer. Pulled the trigger back in Nov. Already did the BBP tune on the new one. Wow. This thing is amazing. Justin at BBP is the man! Totally recommend him! My mileage has been a bit lower than what has been reported on here, could be the -20 temps we have been having here in MN. Learned a ton from this forum. Just got done reading all 49 pages. Thanks guys.
