  1. Thank you for that information. I figure I will eventually come up with the black portion that plugs into the bumper. Then I will purchase the connector that you linked and I'll have a second camera system. Because I've already bought a second camera
  2. Thanks so much for the link/information on a new end to the Coax cable for the camera. My other half of the problem is my black connector that pushes into the bumper plug is beyond repair and I need that item along with this repair kit.
  3. Has anyone been able to source a new Camera Coax cord. I've looked everywhere but thought I'd ask. The issue is if you break the cord you have to buy another camera. Don't ask me how I know :-(
  4. Here’s what I found on the GM part number for the dual camera port. #13526856 This site might be of interest to you: https://sdparts.com/i-24504712-genuine-gm-parts-13526856-receptacle-asm-tow-veh-elec.html
  5. Great job, you’re going to love it. I agree that the image is crystal clear. I like the idea of going through the hole already there from the Furrion camera.
  6. Following, I also would like to lock my DEF Cap. Looks like I might resort to a locking fuel door.
  7. Nicely done. I’m sure that camera will workout great for your needs ShogunKC. I'm in the process of rerunning my cabling as we speak on my 5th wheel.
  8. Yes you can, I would just experiment the height you chose to make sure you get the image you want. Someone mentioned that they had a fisheye effect on their image and lowered the camera a little until they lost that effect. I mounted mine high and my image was great. I’ll also add that I’m rerunning the way I ran the cable to the bumper plug after I pulled the coax line out of the plug. I thought I allowed enough cable for tight turns on my fifth wheel but didn’t.
  9. Very glad everything worked out perfectly for you Ed. I would have over mine but I also have a bumper pull trailer so I just kept the stock position for the camera plug. Bill
  10. Just to update, I did look again at the post with pictures of the inside of the camera that was provided by Chuck showing the connector. It was simple the coax wire harness just plugs into the rear of the camera. I just unplugged it and used that end and routed it through my trailer. It sure made things easier because of its size. Everything worked perfect, I love having the camera on the rear of my 5th wheel.
