  1. I requested to be added and I haven't heard anything as well...
  2. Nice truck!...I had a Colorado for a few days while my wifes 2017 Yukon Denali was in the shop for two weeks and when I first saw it, I thought "man this thing is going to be snug". I'm 6'4 and to tell you the truth, I was impressed by the space in it. It had a nice ride and handled well. I love the color of yours.Best of luck with it!
  3. Hmmm....I'm in a different camp.....the SFA has treated me well for the past 17 years over three trucks plowing snow. Not one failure of any kind and zero maintenance besides grease and a 75.00 pair of tie rod sleeves. My LBZ has 130K and the front end is tight as can be. The F350 and F450 at my other "job" have been riding like shit and wandering since new. Wheel alignments as well as new tires doesn't fix the issue. Granted these trucks are older, but have nothing for mileage (55K and 17K). Granted I drove a new F250 and it did ride pretty nice, but my 15 LML rides just as nice, if not better. That being said, I really don't think the Fords or Rams are built better for "work" and the IFS is "weak" statements kind of make me laugh.... Two sides to each argument.....
  4. Regen is happening....let it go through the process in about 30-40 miles and it should go away...
  5. The Bilsteins were nice and firm...almost too firm for the roads we have here. If I lived in the warmer climate regions, the Bils would have been nice. The winters here heave the roads up in my area, and they have no intention of fixing any roads anytime soon...The adjustability of the Ranchos works for me...
  6. Voodoo science if you ask me........ It all depends on what the truck is and the region. If it's uber cold outside for a long time, then synthetic has it's place. If the truck is an LBZ or older, the extended runs on the oil would make sense for synthetic. I run my EGR blocked LBZ on Mobil 1 for 7500-8000 miles,or whenever the oil change indicator tells me (20%), which is usually the same period. 105K miles with zero issues. My LML on the other hand is totally stock, so I use Delvac 1300 for 5000 or so miles or until the oil life monitor gets to about 20%. I believe these new trucks need more frequent changes due to all the EGR these engines ingest. If using the oil monitor, the LBZ goes a lot longer than the LML.
  7. Tough thing is that ride quality is purely subjective.....In my area, the roads are really rough to the point of making the truck pretty jittery. The highway oscillations that everyone is talking about is understandable...but if you cure the oscillations, chances are the truck becomes jittery over smaller bumps. Had Bilsteins (4600) on my 2002 and 2004 HD, Monroe Reflexes on my 2007 LBZ, and now Rancho 9000XL's, and Sulastic shackles on the same LBZ and each setup had it's good and bad traits.... Add tire pressure adjustments and it becomes even more subjective.... My 2015 has these Z71 shocks and I'm almost too tired to experiment.....
  8. My truck is basically all city and the regens sometimes get completed in 2 days instead of 1 in some cases. 20K trouble free miles so far. My son's LBZ has an Edge CTS2 monitor and when he updated it, it included options to do a force regen or a parked regen on the DPF equipped Duramaxes. I tried it out on my LML and sure enough, it was there. Kind of nice to be able to do your own regens when needed..
