  2. Awesome thanks! I'll be figuring this out tomorrow hopefully...
  3. I was afraid of that... I don't think it lost it's programming though because it works intermittently... Anybody know the location of this thing? I want to trace the wires and see if anything's loose, and yes Rob, I'll be getting it scanned this weekend as well.
  4. Will i need a tech2? Or will a scanner that pulls bcm/abs/airbag codes work?
  5. The code doesn't go away though, and the remote start works. It worked fine when I got out of school, I ran the diagnostic again and the code was still stored in there for the TPS, then when I got home the fob wouldn't work again... It's not the remote start, its everything remote. Door lock/unlock, alarm button, ect.
  6. I forgot to mention that there's no CEL but when I scanned it I got a code for a bad throttle position sensor
  7. Hey guys, I went to leave for class tonight, remote started my truck, let it run until it turned off, tried to start it again and it wouldn't start. The doors didn't unlock, I didn't think much of it. When I got on the highway in stopped traffic to go to school the tpms light started flashing along with the service tire monitoring system message, and 2 sensors won't read anymore. I already read online that both these systems are controlled by the RCDLR. Does it sound like mine went bad and needs to be replaced? I already pulled the fuse for 30 seconds and it didn't fix anything. Did I miss any diagnosing steps? Does it sound like I need to replace this thing? Any help is appreciated.
  8. I put the airbags in... They work pretty nice after I smoothed out the custom control system I put in.
  9. My step dads cost him about 1k-1.5k, exact same car
  10. Oh ok that makes sense, I was just hoping to over complicate it and have a double throw switch set up in the cab
  11. How do you have the Firestone's set up? I've been looking for a solenoid or something so I can adjust them from the cab but so far I've had no luck.
  12. Oh ok, I think I'm going with the Ride-Rite's then, after I figure out a convenient way of hooking them up to the air horn tank
  13. Thats my plan, though I was jw I mean with a WD hitch, in theory, it should keep the whole thing level, which would stress the hitch if its subject to a bed, IE the truck leveling out when the trailer is still pointed uphill...
  14. I thought as much, better question though... Won't a WD hitch stop me from taking hills? We keep the boat in an old warehouse and the driveways pretty steep onto the road, then its a steep downhill. Won't the WD hitch stop it from being able to bend at an angle?
