Bringing an old topic back from the dead. I also have the Kelly Edge AT's on my 2002 Yukon XL 2500, LT265/75R16's. So far I have 56,000 miles on them and they're just now getting close to the wear bars. I've rotated them at each oil change or close to it, probably averaged ~7500 miles between rotates. They've seen gravel, snow, ice, mud, pavement, highway, city and trailered with them too. They're quiet, worn flat and even and stayed in balance the entire time. I'll be putting them on again for sure and on my next truck. My dad is also on his second set on his '04 2500HD and he got 45,000 miles or more out of his first set.

Reviving this post from the dead, same issue on my 2002 Yukon XL 2500. Had the ABS and Brake lights come on intermittently, could usually get them to turn off with a key cycle. Finally went ahead and sent the EBCM out to Module Masters to be rebuilt. Put the rebuilt module back in last night and now ABS and Brake lights are on steady. Had the C0265 DTC before and after the module was rebuilt. I scanned for codes but the C0265 will not clear, I can hear the relay clicking but cannot hear the ABS pump motor run. The fuse is brand new, also tried with the original fuse as well. The ground connection is clean as well. Anything obvious worth checking tonight again other than running through the troubleshooting sequence in the service manual? I should mention I had the dealership replace a leaking engine seal before this issue started, they had to pull the transmission out to do that and found one post about a ground wire on the back passenger side of the engine block that has caused issues similar to this. I'll be checking that wire tonight too.

Driving 2002 Yukon XL 2500 with ABS module removed?

Sounds like you have the same issue I was having. Chances are your ABS Module is in need of repair. https://modulemaster.com/rebuilds/shop/brakes/abs-modules/abs-kh-325/ Some detail here on how to get your module repaired. -

admin- please delete these posts as I cannot delete any longer- it was a simple request for information and I was able to find my answer elsewhere without issue -
Driving 2002 Yukon XL 2500 with ABS module removed?

Cool, I'll just delete this post then...seems like a warning like this should be posted to every post on here especially those telling others to pull the ABS fuse or made modifications to their vehicles in general. Everything needs a disclaimer these days. -
My 02 Yukon XL 2500 needs the ABS module repaired, this is my daily driver. Like the title says, can you drive the truck normally with the module removed? Obviously with the connectors and ABS unit covered to keep dirt/water out. I understand I will not have ABS but the brakes will function normally. Just need to know if driving with the unit unplugged will cause other issues.

6.0L oil cooler bolt stripped in oil pan
56napco replied to 56napco's topic in 1999-2013 Silverado & Sierra 1500
Well, found out the hole is a blind hole and went ahead and put a heli coil in and seems to be holding. Apparently I'm the only one this has ever happened to... -
6.0L oil cooler bolt stripped in oil pan

2002 GMC Yukon XL, 6.0L. So, today I found the rear bolt that holds the oil cooler lines to the oil pan above the oil filter is stripped out in the oil pan. Has anyone installed a heli coil or maybe put a longer bolt in? Are these holes drilled through into the pan or are they blind holes? I'd like to try and fix this without pulling the oil pan if possible. -
The main reason I wanted to know is so I know my fuel system is working correctly and what to expect. I'm not fully convinced it's working the way it should based on the gauge readings and number of gallons it will take to fill.
-
Ok, so the manuals say exactly what is already posted. I understand what a predetermined value is... what no one can seem to tell me is what that acutal value is. Is it 1/4 tank, 1/2 tank, empty?
-
What is the predetermined level that the primary tank needs to reach before it will turn on the secondary tank pump? Will the secondary pump fill the primary tank fast enough to show on the gauge?
-
My 2002 Yukon XL has dual fuel tanks and this is the first truck I've owned with this style of tank setup. I haven't been able to find anything on how these tanks work, there isn't anything in the factory repair manuals. When does the aux. tank pump turn on? Does it continuously fill the primary tank or when the primary tank reaches a specific level? Will the gauge move when the rear pump turns on or does the gauge stay in one spot until the rear tank is empty?
-
Does GM offer a remote start kit for a 2002 Yukon XL that I can have the dealer install?
