Don't want to aggravate anyone with a repeated question. But, I can't find what I need. I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500. I had JDM ASTAR LED lights in my daytime running lights. I can't get in touch with them I was happy with these bulbs since 2017. 1- I'm looking for the brightest bulb, lumens, available. And, I believe projector style. 2- I think it's a 4114, but don't know if a 3157 is brighter or more durable or a better choice. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I had a stroke and if it's not too much trouble, of you can direct me to a link on Amazon or eBay, I would be thankful. Thank you

I wonder how to mount an aluminum toolbox on the carbon fiber bed,? My experience with carbon fiber is it's strong and resistant to puncture and can shatter. Thanks

Winch.mount and grill guard
TxDoc replied to TxDoc's topic in 2019-2025 Chevy Silverado & GMC Sierra Mods
Thank you NHAT4. I appreciate your time and help to respond. I can't order a 2020, yet. I'll keep looking. I mainly what something that bolts directly to the frame like my Westin does. I don't want a new bumper. If you run across something, please remember me searching. Thank you ? -
Starting to look. I like the Weston winch mount and grill guard. I intend to order a GMC Denali and want a Warn winch mounted on something like the Westin design. Any suggestions are appreciated. Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk

New Truck Prices
TxDoc replied to TxDoc's topic in 2019-2025 Chevy Silverado & GMC Sierra Troubleshooting
Thank you, Sierra Dan ? -
If this needs to be moved, please do so. There used to be many sites, like thru credit unions where you could go down the entire list of options for a new truck and finally get the price for MSRP, wholesale and dealer invoice, IIRC. You could also track the truck thru the builds prices and see what time each component was installed. And follow your truck as the train shipped it. 9/11 stopped that last step. Then walk in to a dealer and order exactly what you want and six to eight weeks later receive the truck as you want it to be. No compromises. Things have changed over the years, in sure. Is there a similar prices to find and do the same thing. Thank you for your help and time. Dr Mark

2005 Chevy Silverado. Painless wiring, 4 headlight kit. Two other trucks with this kit, never a problem. Few days ago, left low beam hesitated to come on. Like a poor connection that vibration cured. Then the light didn't come on. It was a new bulb in place, but I tried a new one and nothing. Checked the fuse. It was blown. With the light removed, new fuses blew with light switch engaged. I had a stroke last year, so it's hard to manipulate wires one handed. Wanted to see if anyone with this setup had experienced this. I wondered if my relay might have failed and of that would cause a short and blow the fuses, but it's only one light and not both though. Thanks for any replies and help.

I checked my ground wires and none seem to be even slightly loose. I don't know is checking the less than a year old battery is gonna help as it cranks right up, with no hesitation and with the key off is steady at 11.9 volts and 14.1'volts when driving. Not sure what else it can be. I just still think a ground is bad. Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk

The presets on the radio done reset, just the clock. Just had the alternator replaced and this began to happen each time I start the engine. Battery shows 14 volts, all wires see to have a good connections. Looking to see if someone else has experienced this. Thanks for your help and time.

This may be an old problem with a solution already available. I've got a 2005 Silverado they I wish I could add the mirrors with built in blinkers. I don't need heated mirrors, but would like the added safety/visibility of the signal mirrors. Only problem I dread is, is I can't find someone to reprogram the ECM, I don't want to go to the dealer as the once is totally dishonest. Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk
