  1. C17 tailnumber 1111, a.k.a. Barcode... I have broken down or had trouble in third world s***holes with that jet than anything else ha [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787] Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  2. True statement, but it still handles better than the k5 lol Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  3. Took the family to the Mat-Su Fall Festival yesterday and it was their first time riding in the blazer. The kids thought.it was too loud at first, but quickly got used to it and by the time we got there they didnt want to get out of the "monster" truck lol [emoji23][emoji41] Also, my wife learned that the Blazer isnt a sports car and doesnt handle has well as her Honda Odyssey lol but she enjoyed driving it home Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  4. A couple of pics from my flight last week. Photo credit to my loadmaster [emoji41] Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  5. Rearranged so that I can get the blazer in the garage before winter gets here! Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

  7. Not a whole lot of pictures yet. Waiting on the wife to snap some good ones for me. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  8. Bought from a guy here in town. I'll be the 3rd owner. He bought 4 years ago. Original owner put a new engine in it, 32k miles on the new engine. Dont know the actual total mileage on it. It's been kept in storage during the winters here in Alaska. The guy I bought from never drove it so he decided it was time to pass it on to someone who would get it out there and drive it. That's about all I know about it Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  9. Just going to keep as is for now. Dont have any intentions of turning it into a hard core off-road rig. Going to make some small changes here and there but nothing major. Also, part of the deal with the boss here at home was she can use it in photoshoots for her photography business lol... so gotta keep it looking clean and straight! 10. I'm leaning towards getting the modern radio with the classic look. Just wanted to if anyone had any experience with the radios to make sure they worked as advertised. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  11. Just bought the 76 Blazer. Previous own removed the factory radio and put in a modern head unit. However, I lucked out and he threw in an OEM gauge cluster bezel that has an opening to fit an original radio. My question is if anyone has any experience in here using classiccarradios.com? They make radios that on the face look like factory radios from classic cars and trucks, but have all the modern tech like Bluetooth, satellite, etc. Wondering if anyone thinks it's worth it to put in an "original" radio for the looks. FYSA, the classic radio is approximately $350. -B[emoji879]NES Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  12. Not necessarily a new member, but just got back into GM truck ownership after several years. BLUF: Lost my 2011 Silverado in 2017 when the wife becoming pregnant quickly turned my truck into a minivan... (happy wife happy life I suppose [emoji23]) Flashforward to now, and I just bought a 1976 K5 Blazer Cheyenne. Everyone is happy, she still has her minivan and I am back in something much better than an 08 Suzuki SX4 ha! Also, new callsign these days (Air Force C17 Pilot)... no longer known as Bacon. No everyone calls me BONES. Lookin forward to getting back into the chats. -B[emoji879]NES Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

  14. Just bought a 76 K5 Blazer Cheyenne from a guy. He informed me that he has never taken the top off of it because once you do, it never seals right again. Just wondering if anyone has experience issues when removing the top? -BONES Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
