  2. My wife has a stock Tundra and she kills my 6.0 with BB tune and cold air intake! Kills! She has the 4:30's , where mine has the 3:73's so...
  3. Family reunion in Kamsack Sask.
  4. Installed new step bars, Volant CAI, replaced rotors, pads, and rear calipers; then had the truck towed to the shop to get the brakes bled properly lol. Oh, and did the data logging for my new Black Bear! Can't wait to get the tune in to see how she pulls!
  5. You can bend those wd hitches quite a bit without hurting them. If you get into a really nasty situation like backing into a steep campsite or something, just disconnect the bars.
  6. I know you mean 31' trailer, right? That's a nice one! I see in your other post it weighs 8000#. Is that dry weight, cause you can count on adding at least 1000# of stuff to go camping, and 9000# is alot for a 1500. What kind of wd hitch do you have?
  7. Tundra 5.7? That would be an interesting comparison in towing feel/handling. The Tundra got thrown around a little more by the trailer. The suspension is a shade softer, but has the 5.7, and 4.30 gears, so it actually pulled better. Overall, I prefer the 2500 because it just feels like a heavier, more solid platform, and I'm a GM guy.
  8. Nice. What kind of mpg do you get towing? I realize that's a loaded question, but curious anyways. I think we average 8 0r 9. We sometimes tow this trailer with the wife's Tundra and the mileage is real close on both trucks.
  9. Gorgeous truck and trailer! Nice picture as well!
  10. Here's one of my 08 and the toy-hauler. 32' and 8000# loaded with bikes and gear. The truck pulls it like it's not there!
