  1. won't you have to trim your lugs down for these?
  2. I'm having the same issues with new Method 310 wheels. Is there another way to learn the TPMS to the truck without having to pull the TPMS out of the wheels and learning them locally there to the truck?
  3. I have a 2018 Silverado Z71. I put aftermarket Method wheels and new tires on recently and sucessfully swapped out the stock TPMS from stock wheels to the new set up. The TPMS worked after the swap but were in the wrong positions. So a few weeks later I went through the relearn process. Got to the LF wheel with the relearn tool and horn chirped after a bit, then went to RF and nothing. I've done this several times and it never proceeds past the second wheel RF. Went to the dealership and they couldn't get the first wheel to learn. I tried mine there and couldn't get it to learn either. The Service person at the dealership stated that some aftermarket wheels position the TPMS at places in the tire that may be further away that in the stock position thereby making it difficult for the tool to link up with the sensor. So what are my options here? Do the 2018's have the capability to let air out of the tire until the horn chirps procedure like the older Silverado's do? I really don't want to take the wheels off, break the tire seal from the rim exposing the sensor so the tool can have a more direct link to the TPMS. Just looking for some tips or tricks here that I could easily do without having to dismount the tires from the rims. TIA!
  4. $70 obo located in North Alabama will ship Genuine GM Mat Package Part# 23453025. Front 2 driver and passenger. Came out of my 2018 Silverado with 100 miles on them. $70. Will Ship.
  5. I have a 2018 Silverado Z71 LT. Looking at a set of 2019 Tahoe wheels and wondering if the Tahoe TPMS will work on my 2018. On GMPARTS DIRECT the p/n for the 2019 Tahoe is :Part Number: 84413352 for my 2018 Silverado they list 2 part numbers : 84413352 and 84413357 . So, will the Tahoe TPMS work in my Silverado? Thanks in advance!
  6. What does the flapper do? I assume its ok to remove...wont cause check engine light?
  7. I have the 60/40 bench. It apparently comes with the all star package. It appears on my build sheet as RPO KI4 - POWER OUTLET, 110-VOLT AC. Just need to find it.
  8. Picked up an 18 Oceanic Blue Metalic LT Z71 crew cab at a great deal. Enjoying it so far very much. This truck is amazing! Thanks for all the input here! One quick question, does this truck have a 110V outlet? If so, where is it located? I noticed this on the build sheet. I do not have the bench seating as I know they put 2 under the radio with that seat configuration. I guess the dealership forgot to tell me about that.
  9. What is the e-assist engine? I notice there is an option for e-assist engine and active fuel management engine. What are the differences?
  10. So I guess $13,500 off MSRP is not a good deal considering we are 5 months into the next calendar year? What would be a good price? Also, where could I get a private offer or additional cash off? Few years back after doing the build your own on the Chevy website, a coupon popped up for $1,000 off. Haven't seen anything like that this time.
  11. Looking at buying a new 2018 LT Z71 5.3. Local dealerships have these marked down around $13,000. Are there any major issues with this year? I've read about some shuddering but haven't read enough to pin it to a certain year, transmission, 2WD/4WD, etc. Do all the 5.3 Z71's come with either 6 speed transmission or 8 speed transmission? What about axle ratio, all 3.42? Thanks in advance!
  12. What year range does the oil consumption issue cover and what engine or engines? Any of these engines affected come without AFM? From my reading, it appears that if the valve cover is swapped out early on to the new design with the baffle, then the damage would be less severe to major engine components. Is this correct? Thanks in advance.
