Years ago, I had 1500 with the extended cab and the 6.5 bed. Then I got a 2500 with the crew cab and 6.5 bed. Next purchase I will be back with the extended cab. For me, I did not use the back see enough to offset the decrease in maneuverability. Parking lots became a challenge. I'll admit, I live in a congested area.
This is a great thread. Thanks for taking the time to post this. Really cool to watch the evolution of your truck. Plus, you sharing some great Ideas. I now have Falken AT3W on my truck and love them. Also, think I will go will husky liners next BTW, your truck looks great!
Yup Have them on my HD takes some time to get used to it. To me , they also make the truck feel bigger (wider) when negotiating tight traffic and parking spots. Again takes some getting used to it
This might sound odd. I had something similar happen to my 08 Envoy. Luckily it was still under warranty. I never fully understood the explanation, but they told me a tube that channels water to the outside of the car had become kinked. In my case the source of the water came from the glove box area. (I am almost certain it had not come from the headliner) As a result, water was backing up in to the passenger compartment. I had a much larger water spot and it was more inboard; away from the sill plate. I am not even sure if our trucks have the same 'plumbing'
