  1. I’ve got a 2023 AT4X and when I start the truck up, I may already have the A/C blowing full speed and about 12-15 seconds in, it automatically turns to low on the fan speed. I do not have it in auto mode, temperature setting is at “low”. Recirculation is set to on. It does this every single time. It has to be something minor but I can’t figure it out. Being in Texas it’s hotter than you know what. I Get in, turn AC up full blast and then 12 seconds later it turns down then I have to press the button to turn the fan speed back up . Only does it after starting the vehicle up. Anyone have any ideas? Thx.
  2. Agreed! I'm ready to buy an HD but want 10 speed is deal breaker. I need it. Meanwhile I will continue to enjoy my paid off truck. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  3. Agreed, the moment GM comes out with the 6.6 gas in a 10 speed I will be the first to buy. I have a 2014 GM Sierra 1500. I'm ready to upgrade. I drove my brother in-laws 10 speed Ford and I liked it but I am a GM guy. Does anyone know if the 2022 models will be 10 speed for the gas? Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  4. Is there any word if/when GM will offer the 2500 HD gas with the 10 speed transmission? The other day I drove a 10 speed diesel and man it was a big difference. I do not need a diesel but would certainly love the 6.6 with a 10 speed. Thank you. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  5. Retail sales numbers were released today. Auto sales were down -33% year over year from April 2019 -April 2020. I can't see May being too much different. These auto companies will be forced to cut prices to move the inventory they have. Especially once plants get running again and new cars hit the lots later in the year. I think this late Summer and rest of 2020 you will get a much better deal. If looking to buy now but can wait, I'd wait a few more months. Deals will get much better. 6. So my wife is in the market to get a larger SUV as she currently has the ACURA MDX. With our family expanding we need more room. We typically keep our vehicles 8-10 years. I'm trying to see if we should buy a 2020 Yukon Denali, MSRP 75k, sale price 64k. Or do we wait for the 2021 AT4 and buy at this year end. I assume very small discounts. My question is, any word on the cost of the AT4? What do you think you can get off MSRP once the go in sale in Summer/Fall 2020? I realllllly like the AT4 and although will be more expensive, if I'm paying $64k vs 74k I'd much rather get exactly what I want. Question is, will they be 75k or 80+? Lastly I've heard "Laural" GMC dealer has the largest selection and best prices typically for trucks. Any idea who is the best in selling Yukons? I dont mind flying and driving to get a great deal. Thanks in advance. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  7. I can definitely see the use for the tailgate speakers. Living on the Texas Gulf Coast and going to the beach often, it would be nice to keep doors closed and windows up while at the beach to keep all the sand and salt blowing in the truck. In the past, to hear radio in the truck, doors open or windows down. Great fix for this problem. Also, tailgating at Texans games i have similar problem with all bbq pit smoke blowing inside the cab since I wanna listen to tunes. Then for the next week my truck smells like a Bbq pit (not necessarily always a bad thing) [emoji16] Seems like a cool feature and one I'll be sure to have. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  8. I'm just a lurker, but when I bought my 2014 1500 SLT it was extremely helpful to know what % others got off their MSRP. Dont forget to clarify if you are trading in a vehicle. We all know how the dealers work, they may take off more from the new truck but give you less trade in. Or give you more than your trade is worth but then less off new truck. So one person may have -12% off MSRP and another 14% off MSRP for exact same truck but dealership makes same amount of money. But definitely helpful to know the range off MSRP. 9. Mine wasn't so much a reception problem just crackling in speakers. They now sound GREAT. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  10. I know my rear passenger seat does the same thing! Very frustrating when dealing with car seats. Next time I go in for oil change I may bring this to their attention.
  11. I use GAY GMC in Dickinson, TX. They are the one who fixed it. I went back to my service agent and asked him the name of the specific update as I had a friend of my who had the same issue. He didn't give me a specific number or anything, but this is what he replied via e-mail. "They have to go into programming and try to program radio based on program in radio, if has latest update it will tell them not to update." I know he didn't provide a specific bulletin number or anything, (I asked for bulleting # or I.D number) I'm sure if you go in and say you want to make sure you have the latest update for your radio any dealer should be able to check. I had (2) different updates done to mine. I knew they did something before even hearing the radio because all my presets were deleted. It took 1 hr and worked like a charm! Can't believe it took 3 years to fix but glad it did. AM and FM radio now sound crystal clear and no horrible crackling sound. I hope that helps!
  12. Good Afternoon Everyone, I FINALLY after 3 years and 2 months have a fix for my horrible radio crackling sound. I have a 2014 GMC Sierra SLT. (The SLE trucks didn't have the problem as they didn't have the BOSE) Since day 1 my A.M & F.M radio has been awful. A horrible crackling noise in the speakers. MP3 or Satellite radio was just fine. Only Radio stations. Over the years they have replaced the speakers, antenna, changed settings and no fix. I wasn't ready to give up. A month ago I escalated the issued to GM customer care again as my dealer never had a fix in 3 years. Long story short, customer care said there was no fix and offered me $2,500 owners loyalty credit for new vehicle. No thank you... If I buy new again it wouldn't be GM. I had enough. I wrote a letter and send it FedEx to the CEO of GM. 3 days later I get a call from a woman named Reisha in GM Corporate office. She was FANTASTIC! She called my dealership and got in touch with engineer team again. She called me every 2-3 days with an updated even if there was nothing to report. I was then told to go to my dealership and they needed to do an update to the program on my truck. I was told it would take @ 1 hr. The last updae GM put out was March 2016 for the radio issue. I have taken it in 2x since and they never tried this. Well, I took it in this morning and within 1 hours they downloaded the 2 updates to the truck. I got in and all my presets were wiped out so I knew they did something. I instantly noticed my FM station they had it on sounded very clear. (I'm here in Houston, TX so there should never be a bad clarity situation with a major station.) I then turned it over to the AM station (610am and 790am here in Houston) and it sounds SUPER SUPER CLEAR! No crackling sounds, just perfect! I couldn't believe my ears. I wasn't optimistic this would fix the problem but boy was I wrong! I didn't receive a service sheet or anything so I'm not exactly sure what the update was. But I believe they said it was last update GM put out was MArch 2016. It had something to do with updating the radio and downloading something. All I can say is WOW. Finally, 39 months later I can listen to AM and FM radio without it sounding like a chalkboard. I can't wait for my evening drive home and what now feels like my "New" again truck. My faith has been restored in GM! It's 5 O'clock and time for me to leave work and listen to my Houston Sports AM station in pure clarity! Adios! Brian
  13. As a matter of fact I was looking at 2017 Tundra and Fords today... my 20 minute commute each morning has worse a.m radio. I'm 20 miles from downtown Houston! Not some small town in Montana. Just to clarify, the signal is fine but the horrible crackling in speakers is just awful. They have swapped speakers, tuned trebble high/low. Shift sound more to back speakers vs front or center. I've had enough. My sorry G.M service team just says "No fix" Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  14. EXTREMELY Unfortunate that GM has failed to address and fix this issue. Now I'm past 36k miles and zero leverage at all. I have had nothing but service manager leave, get told "No fix yet but aware of it." Just awful. I have zero plans of buying another GM vehicle. I have been a life long GM guy but failure to fix this issue after 3 years is inexcusable!!!!!!! Could something like this happen with my next Ford, Toyota, Dodge vehicle? Sure.... but I would be able to handle it a lot better vs getting burned again. I was always told, fool me once shame on you... fool me twice shame on me. I won't allow a 2nd chance unless GM finally steps up to plate and does what they need to fix my truck. I listen to the radio every single day and get pissed every day. Can't believe I have lasted this long in this truck. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  15. I have not had a chance yet to bring it back to the dealership to see if the can put in non-bose speakers. But as I have mentioned before, I have the 2014 SLT model. I have been in multiple loaner trucks which were only SLE, and did not have the Bose Speakers and they sounded great. No static in AM or FM radio. I'm now past my 36,000 miles and they BETTER not give me grief about trying to fix speakers. Because I have invoices showing they tried but no fix yet.... I get it, Lemon Law will not work because it does not effect the safety of the vehicle. Little leverage here.
