  1. Mine... Shop owner's behind my Z... And another customer's Z71...
  2. I trimmed(very simple) a 9006 Siverstar to test last night, bulb seemed much dimmer than stock.
  3. lmao, that's what I'm saying! Is there a 100% direct swap for the headlight and/or fog light? I know the 9006 is not a direct swap without modding it.
  4. I'm interested as well. I can tell you that you have to modify the 9006. I bought the Sylvania mentioned above and the tabs are just a little off. I got the H11 for the fogs but haven't had time to try them. Anybody else get any bulbs to fit?
  5. My bad, at first glance I thought it had one. Looks like it was for the coolant system. Makes sense, I even had to put the one on my LS7.
  6. My 14 Sierra has one from the factory on the 5.3....EDIT NEVERMIND I WAS MISTAKEN
  7. Dealers are locked out from making these changes. I'm in talks with GM directly to get the code unlocked on mine.
  8. Well we will find out more tomorrow on this! I will be at the dealer in the morning with their wiring/programming wiz to find out the code differences between the SLE low-beam daytime versus the SLT 1 bar of LEDs daytime. During this process I'm going to see if he can trigger all the LEDs to run bright during daytime. We shall see!!
  9. This for sure, I had to find the headlight part numbers and help determine another harness was needed. I agree and have no clue why they made different headlights, stupid in my opinion, I prefer the SLT headlight and that's why I worked it into my deal. I actually wanted the SLT w/cloth but they had a Quicksilver SLE optioned the way I wanted minus the LEDs in the headlights of course, which is why I'm in this situation. But I'm sure they will get it figured out, the hard part is done, harness and headlights installed and for the most part working correctly. Just have to get the daytime runners figured out!
  10. I know I was worried about that the whole time, heck they thought it would be plug and play and then they found out the hard way that the entire harness had to be swapped lol. Like mentioned above, it's their issue to figure out. All I can say is they won't give another buyer the option like I got unless they are ordering the truck straight from GM. They got screwed hard by me on this one. The sales manager said hey we will make it happen! $2k in parts and 8 service hours later....enter foot! I hope it's just something simple they can flash but the way it's gone so far I doubt it lol.
  11. That's what I thought too, so I'm wondering if it's a CPU thing. Maybe a flash needed to correct the lighting procedure...not sure?
  12. So I bought a 2014 Sierra SLE but I had it worked into my deal to have the headlights swapped for the SLT version with LEDs. And by the way, the entire harness under the hood has to be swapped also if you are thinking of doing this. My question is to the guys with the headlights w/ LEDs . Can you give me the break down of when the LEDs are on? From what I'm seeing on mine the upper and lower LEDs come on with the parking lights and also when the projector lamps are on. For some reason I thought the LEDs also took the place of the daytime running lights. Where as my projector low beam currently still acts as daytime just like the SLE headlights. I thought it was the lower LEDs for daytime.? Thanks!
  13. Could be but I would rather it be the opposite way since my bed is unloaded more than it's loaded. Donno
  14. Check your pinion angle! It was off from the factory on my 2014 and my buddy's too!! I wasn't too worried about it because we both lowered them anyways. Still playing with different degree shims to get the ride the smoothest but as of now it's still better than from GM.
