  1. That's true if you pay MSRP. In my case, my truck is still worth (about 4K) more than I paid for it according to blackbook.
  2. Cow pie does make a valid point, but like CRApex stated the HP and TQ are amazing. I've had mine tuned within the first 3 months of purchasingit(along dumping all the EPA Crap) and all my fuel mileage numbers are with a PPEI street tune (150HP increase) I just upgraded the Allison with a tune and my numbers are rising. If anyone understands tuning, my truck is in the learning phase since I just retuned it (re learning the fuel trims). should get better as the miles go up. All city driving 45-55 MPH a lot of stop and go. I've got about 50 miles on the tranny tune so far and I drive the sh!t out of it.
  3. After reading through this thread an seeing the low MPG, I'm glad I got the diesel. Just finish a trip from Oklahoma to Montana, roughly 3000 mile round trip and averaged 22.9 MPG on DIC. Manually calculated was 22.4. Of course mine is tuned and I have a 3:73 rear differential. On average in the city I get 18.5 between fill ups. Mike
  4. I bought the lightbar from amazon Doesn't look like it's available any longer, at least not by the same seller.
  5. I fabricated them myself and I used mini led's from https://www.oznium.com/. I tapped into the running lights with a positap Photo of the install: LED size comparison;
  6. Thanks, she belongs to someone else now. Traded here in for this: Would have been white diamond if the color was offered.
  7. So I have the above set-up and I'm curious what others are experiencing when they tow. I tow a 22 foot Pontoon boat, trailer has surge brakes on one axle. Total weight is roughly 4500 pounds. Maybe I'm expecting to much but I'm not impressed, just curious what others are experiencing. My trailer does have surge brakes, and I'm using a 2" drop tow pindle. I'm wondering if that could be part of the issue as the trailer neck is certainly not level. I'm so dissapointed that I almost pulled the trigger on 2015 with 6.2 ltr until I saw that the differential was 3.23, intially I thought it would be a 3.73. After I discovered that, I killed the deal. I also considered the HD 6.0 ltr but the only rearend offered is a 4.10. 3.73 is only offered in the diesel. Anyway, any insights are welcomed. TIA, MIke
  8. The drivers side rear bracket lines up directly with the parking brake assembly. When the steps are up, the bracket does hit the brake assembly. I don't recall reading that I didn't need it due to me having a crew cab.
  9. What about the 6-8" piece of rubber that your supposed to put around the parking brake assembly? Mine hit also, but the with the rubber wrap, it's a non issue. Mike
  10. I can fully understand your angst. Have you tried their forum? As far as taking the time to answer all your questions, not sure if that was meant to be a smart @ss comment. If it was it certainly wasn't warranted. I was merely trying to steer you in the right direction. As far as other tuners, I'm about to pull the plug on my diablo ( another issue) and go with HP tuners. There is a much larger learning curve, but there are a couple of forum members within this forum with vast knowledge and are willing to help. Best of luck to you, Mike
  11. They are every bit as strong as the OEM boards, look a whole lot better too!
