  1. I am on my 3rd pair of shocks as the previous two pair have blown. Each time replacing the shocks has fixed the popping sound. Could the shackles and leafs needing to be retorqued be the pro lem why I keep going through shocks?
  2. Think it's a bad batch of Rancho shocks since they had to replace them on more then just mine. It will be a pain to get them to duplicate. My suggestion would be to allow them to drive it home. Also I would open a ticket with GM so they know you working on the issue with GM also. Reason being I had to take it to the dealer 4times in order to get it fixed.
  3. Had the back shocks replaced and haven't had the problem hasn't happened since. Ment the problem hasn't happened since they were replaced.
  4. for me, randomly jumping on the bumper did not make a noise. However when the truck is acting up if you pull over and jump on the bumper then it would make the noise.
  5. Its the shocks. And it sounds like it was difficult for them to replicate.
  6. I have mine back at the dealer again trying to fix the issue. Once they are able to find out what is wrong with mine I'll post it as I know it's the most frustrating thing.
  7. Got the truck back after a week in the shop with the same old we can not replicate the issue. This is beginning to get frustrating. I have no idea why they can't replicate the issue when it happens every day when I have the vehicle. Since I've had it back the issue is worse. Not sure if I should just drive it until it breaks or to continue to try and get it fixed. All I know is it sure is taking up a lot of time and hassle trying to get this issue resolved.
  8. Has anyone been able to have this issue fixed? Would like to know what to tell the dealer.
  9. 2014 5.3 z71 4x4 1300 miles 3.08 gear ratio Has anyone had an issue with a loud popping noise from under the bed or around the back wheels area? This is most noticable in the morning and when you are accelerating from a stop around 5 - 10 mph. Dropped the truck off this morning but wanted to see if anyone else had the issue in case they come back and say they can't replicate or find the problem.
