  1. The solid yellow wire is the mirror led light wire and I ran that to the engine compartment fuse box and connected to the reverse light fuse and also connected to the cargo light wire under the driver door wire way. The cargo wire color that you have to locate within that bundle is white/violet. It took some looking to locate that wire as there are many small wires in the bundle.
  2. Nice truck! I am considering the same tires/lift. Any complaints with your setup verses stock?
  3. I connected them to the reverse fuse so anytime the truck is unlocked at night or exited the mirror led's come on.
  4. I got these mirrors as soon as they were released and I could not find a dealer that knew anything about programming them or they said they could not be programmed on a 14 so I installed myself and wired the reverse. I have the reverse and cargo tied together so I really like the mirror reverse lights when backing trailers in the dark but also the extra illumination when approaching the vehicle at night and using the remote unlock.
  5. My DDM kit has been flawless up until 2 weeks ago. Lost lights, found the fuse blown so I replaced and all was good for a few days. Lost both lights again and started troubleshooting only to find the relay corroded. The relay coil had opened so it was shot but the fuse was not blown this time. When I looked up the relay to order I notice DDM is well aware of corrosion with the relays, not covered by warranty, funny how they offer no protection for it or even mention this when you get the kit. I installed a new relay but tape sealed it and secured it vertically to the radiator support. I still do not understand how that much moisture is in that area as it seemed to be in a well protected location. I would recommend anyone with a DDM kit to check your relay contacts and tape seal the relay. It is also a big pain to lose your lights at night and have to return to stock while sourcing a relay. So I am getting a spare relay and the rigid fogs so I have drivability if there is another failure.
  6. Decided to trim 2.5 inches off the air dam and re-install. I have had it off for a few months. I think I can live with this.
  7. Putco Boss Lockers. I used them on another truck and was pleased with them. They come with a black metal plate and inserts to accomodate the enlarged rear stake holes. Looks very smooth and is really strong.
  8. They are listed in the for sale area. $65.00 shipped. These are oem paint matched summit white.
  9. Got my Bushwackers back from paint yesterday and installed today. I think they come off those fender curves perfect and glad to be rid of the black fender trim and splash guards.
  10. Shopchevyparts.com, they have cocoa and black. The picture on their website only shows the insert but these are molded into the trim pieces so you replace your current trim pieces completely. http://www.shopchevyparts.com/all-new-sierra-1500/interior-c-1456_2589_2590_2617.html
