    Did you have reception problems prior to the swap? Some members post about poor reception quality.

    No signal loss on my normal route. Haven't tried leaving the city to see if range is affected. I doubt it though. Simple design and remakedly small.

    Installed the craven stubby antenna. Didn't realize it was smaller than a pen. Close to 4 inches. Reception not affected. Good 20 dollar mod.

    So if I wire green only. No switch needed and it will automatically turn on when in reverse?

    Yup. I NEED this. Thanks for the write up. Is the green wire powered when in reverse only or did you wire a seperate switch?
