Yes. I used a binder clip and a zip tie on each side. The binder clip holds on to the wheel well liner from the bottom, and then the zip tie pulls on the binder clip. This moves the liner away and there's no rubbing on the liner anymore. I have +18 offset wheels. I don't think 305s are a good idea on stock wheels.

Hey thewhitestallion that's exactly how my truck looked when I bought it. (Except the Z71 sticker on the rear -- mine doesn't have that.) Interior is probably different though, I have the 40/20/40 front seats. Anyway I don't know if you are considering mods, but for what its worth here is my truck now after a 2" RC level, and custom wheels/tires. I also added the GM steps for $500, which was really dumb because that's too much $$ for what you get.

Here's a GM bulletin somebody scanned in from August 2013. Does this fix work? Anybody had their dealer apply this fix?

The feature is controlled by a setting. Under Settings -> Vehicle Options if I remember right. Called "auto fold mirrors" or something. Maybe your setting is off?

MotoMedic is right. Even listening to a good old CD, it just keeps on going while the radio is "off", showing the big clock.

If you hold the power button down on the radio it really turns off. Not just mute! And you get a very nice looking clock while the radio is off. And the mirror thing is pretty cool. I tried it for the first time earlier today.

Finally got wheels and tires and 2" Rough Country leveling kit. I love that the rear is still 1" higher than the front. Testing out a stuffed animal for a hood ornament. I was hoping the red wheel inserts would match the GMC logos (and IP / center stack lighting) better. Maybe I will have the inserts repainted to a darker red metallic. Also still waiting for the front license plate filler which should be here tomorrow. (And which GM should have automatically included with my truck for Arizona!)

Hey Swazimoto what did you end up doing? I just got my Terra Grapplers LT305/55R20 on the 20x9 Moto Metals (+18 offset). Then I installed the 2" RC level. I put the new wheels/tires on right before the level to simulate some suspension travel after the level. At full lock there was light contact with the wheelwell liner at the back of the inside wheel. But after I installed the 2" level it is perfect. No rubbing at all, and I think even a large suspension input at full lock (rare I know) wouldn't rub. [see update below.] Full disclosure mine is a Sierra CC Z71 and I don't know if clearances are different between brands, models, or suspension packages. I really liked those trail grapplers but finally decided on the terra grapplers because I'm on the pavement almost all the time. UPDATE on tires rubbing with LT305/55R20. Actually they do rub a little bit in the same spot after the 2" RC level. I found some tricks to checking. First, put people in the car. Second have somebody hold the steering wheel at full lock (instead of letting go of the wheel). Third, drive forward a foot or so at full lock. Then check. The spot where mine rubs should be easy to pull back with a zip tie or two, so I'm going to try that. Meantime the rub is very minor and only at full lock.

I currently have 18's but plan to go with Moto Metal 20" wheels with slightly reduced offset (+18) and 305/55R20's. How do I check for rubbing? I mean wouldn't I have to go through full suspension travel at different steering angles? I can handle the steering angles but how do you check against suspension travel? Jeff
