  1. I towed 16 feet of trailer @ 6-7k lbs. for 1,500 miles in tow/haul mode down the east coast and did lose about a quarter of a quart on the trip. Every two to three hours I pulled the dip stick to check and there was nice puff of grey coming out of the hole so I am assuming due to the high heat/abnormal stress on the motor, I was burning oil but with the trip and load it was too be expected. Of my 30k miles so far, that was the ONLY time I've consumed oil. On a side note, my transmission temp was also a solid 10-15 degrees above normal during the trip as well so I might do an early tranny oil change.
  2. Where did you find a spec chart on their site?
  3. Just received this response after reaching out to BFG... I asked (they knew it was a 2014 GMC Sierra from the questionnaire): I just put BFG KO2s 275/55/20's on my truck and have no idea what PSI to go with. My truck is the 4WD Crew Cab Short Bed, I am currently running them @ 39 in the front and 37 in the back cold (compared to the 32 PSI my stock P tires called for) and they still feel kind of flat. Any suggestions? They answered: Drew, I will be happy to assist you. When installing a different size than the original equipment tire, all vehicle manufacturer specifications must be maintained. The replacement tire should be inflated to provide the same load capability of the original tire size at the manufacturer’s recommended pressure. The original tire size can hold 2,105 lbs at 32 psi. The new tire will need to meet or exceed the weight. We recommend that the new All-Terrain KO2 LT275/55R20 use 50 psi to hold 2,270 lbs. We appreciate your business and thank you for choosing BFGoodrich. It is our goal to ensure that your issue has been resolved or your question answered to your satisfaction. Sincerely, Natasha Consumer Care Department Certified BFGoodrich Product Expert Looks like I will be going up to 48-50PSI today after work!
  4. Just picked it up, had them go with stock 275/55/20 sizes and 40 psi front 38 psi rear. Is it weird that coming from stock SR-A tires the KO2s feel flat? Should I jack up the PSI? It just feels really slow/grippy off the line and harder to turn, also a noticeable sound increase at cruising speed.
  5. hey guys, i have the shop putting these on today around noon. from what i've read, im thinking blackwalls out and 40 PSI front 36 PSI rear cold?
  6. Haha darnit fondupot, I've been very pleased with my Duel Can setup but now I'm tempted to toss a second evacuation port on the cans!
  7. Can you point out exactly where they applied the grease? I tried a few spots and couldn't get rid of the sounds.
  8. Do you know if this recall ever ended up occuring? The noise my leaf springs make is unbearable and embarrassing.
  9. Brought the truck in yesterday for my oil change and to have the TSB done. Took them almost 3 hours, first thing I did when I got the truck back when pop off both headlight covers and check that the new bulbs were indeed Volsas (they were) and I noticed the Driver's side bulb was installed incorrectly - one of the three tabs was not engaged into the socket so luckily I caught that. Waited for last night to roll around and all i have to say is WOW - brighters, wider, and now my headlights are white instead of yellow. I am super excited, thanks for all the info in this thread guys!
  10. I hope its the later of the two as well. I've been dealing directly with the service manager and he's been a great guy since I bought the truck (other service people there blow). I came in a few months after buying the truck and showed him some condensation in my rear light and he was just like 'That's not acceptable, I'll have a new assembly in tomorrow for you' and when I first bought the truck there was a paint imperfection in the hood and he literally replaced the hood with another brand new trucks hood of the same color to avoid repainting - so I do like the way he goes about his services, definitely trust him.
  11. Took my dealer 3 weeks to get the bulbs in. Spoke with them this morning and scheduled the service for next week - they insisted I take a loaner for the day since they said I am the first one they will be doing this for and have no idea how long it will take haha. Any other first timers on this thread (or even not) and how long did they keep your truck for?
  12. +1, I've been running 35 PSI in all my tires this winter. In the summer I will stagger them with 1-2 more PSI in the fronts for MPG.
  13. Condensation holds MUCH more liquid than humidity. When its cold and your engine is much warmer than the air around it, condensation forms.
  14. Thanks guy, I'm literally going to print that PDF above and hand it to them
