Similar issue with mine has just come up over the last week, installed my HID's in January of 2014 and in the last week they've started to not always turn on, as of this morning I can't get methe low beams to turn at all. I haven't checked with a multimeter yet(I'm out of town at the moment so don't have my normal tools) but the fuse is visibly good and the (1) relay clicks as I pull it out of the socket so I think the issue is downstream of that. 1.5 years for bulb life seems a bit low to me but I do have approximately 22k miles on them, they're both out nearly simultaneously which seems odd compared to bulb life for non HID units

Yes, the G4 requires the removal of (4) bolts to pull the cover off completely, weight is around 50 lbs give or take for the panels when removing them and they strap together nice and easy so for me it's not a problem to pull them off but someone else may have different feelings. I haven't had to remove them yet, but I installed them by myself so shouldn't be an issue. As a side note, I would add that when I open/close the tailgate, I normally do quickly open/close the back panel because otherwise when you shut the tailgate the back leaf weatherstrip will fold under the panel, popping up the back panel then shutting again puts the weatherstrip where it should be.

Another shot of the truck. It's in pretty good condition given it's age, one clear thru rust hole at a cab corner, otherwise just minor rust spots, fenders need some work to get them straightened out but it'll all come in time. Right now....plans for it aren't complete, needed to get it picked up and hauled away to my place so that it was out of the seller's shed and nobody else tried to buy it. Sometime this summer it will end up in Las Vegas where FIL lives, for now it'll stay in Iowa in my shed as the plans and transport details get lined up. From talking with him as we hauled it back it will be a frame off job, flathead v8 likely gets swapped for a smallblock, new suspension and drivetrain. Body will stay as original as possible, new interior is a requirement as the floorpan and seat are both gone, truck is currently black and new paintjob will likely be black as well. Function is going to be important on this one as I think he wants this to be a fun driver and one he enjoys taking out to run errands, has a '71 Nova and a '47 Ford Coupe that don't go out on the road that much and I think this one will replace the Nova and become a frequent driver.

That is a smoking deal, most of the prices I saw for Roll-X when I was looking was 700-825 which is one of the reasons I went with the Fold-A-Cover G4 Elite over the Roll-X. Had I seen that price on a new Roll-X I may have bought that one instead.....but oh well, I'm happy with mine and you're happy with yours so thats what matters!

But the block heater is there so it much be important to use, I had the same arguement with a couple people at work. Yeah have fun with the idiots driving in your 11" of snow....but at least you probably get a snow day(or 2) out of it

Had a Galaxy Note 2 for almost 2 weeks, loved it but had to return it due to crappy reception at my house....traded for a Moto Droid something, reception is much better but I do miss that massive screen and the S pen of the Note.
