  1. Just had mine installed last week. Set the fronts on #4, 1.5” lift, and didn’t add anything to the back. Will probably leave the back ride height stock. Truck rides much better for my tastes and the move level attitude is a better vantage point over the hood and overall appearance too IMO. It is a firmer ride no doubt about it but, I’ve always preferred that in my vehicles. Bumps that used to rebound 3-4 times rebound once and it’s over, the truck has less wheel hop when quickly accelerating out of corners and it feels much more planted on the highway. Going back for an alignment next week. Paid the local small shop $525 to install all 4 5100s including reusing the springs and hardware up front. Truck is a 2020 RST Z71 with 43k miles on the ODO, tires are Firestone Deatination AT2 P275/65/18. May go with a more aggressive or little taller tire next time I need some. Will prob stick with 18” rims though. Fuel economy is unchanged from the mild level up front.
  2. They call it tilt and telescope but, it doesn't really tilt if you get down to it.. Its height and depth adjustable (maybe slight change in angle when the height is changed) and can't truly be tilted.. The K2 had two levers, one for telescope and one for tilt and I could get the wheel almost straight up and down.. The tilt is fixed on all T1XX trucks.. In GM's defense almost all vehicles have gone to this for many years.. Power pedals are still available on RAM and F150, I get that post ppl don't use 'em but, I sure as hell did. It would help if I could get the wheel out about 2 more inches. I'd have an F150 in the garage but, Ford's are so damn expensive, I'd have a RAM but, let's face it they don't hold up for crap and rust out her in the salty north after about 6 or 8 years plus they're so expensive to maintain..
  3. My last truck was a 2016 Silverado LT, only reason I traded it in on a 2020 was I needed a crew cab because of a growing family.. Would have really preferred a used 2018 but, prices were insane last fall on used trucks.. GM really took a major step back on interior function and style on these T1XX trucks the K2 was superior in every way from an interior function and comfort.. I think about trading my 2020 for a 2018 almost daily.. Can't bring myself to do it because it's a crap financial move and the 2020 is still a decent truck but, not like the K2 was.. The new F150 is really tempting but, to get the features I want I'd need to spend like $55k after incentives on a Lariat model where as the RST I paid $40k fr after incentives has all the features I need.. Ram looks awesome and has a better design but, reliability isn't there and I'm planning on this being a 200k mile truck so I got a Chevy and I put up with the trash interior..
  4. After 12k miles and 7 months on the T1XX 2020 SIlverado RST I still miss my 2016 LT... I find myself looking on cars.com at used 2016-2018's on almost a daily basis.. Quality was just better on the last gen trucks and the driving position kinda sucks IMO on the T1XX, really don't know why they eliminated the tilt steering wheel for only telescope, feels like I'm driving a school bus because you can't get the wheel vertical enough and since I've got short arms and long legs I really miss the pedal adjustment, I would push the pedals all the way away from me and the wheel about 85% out.. Just can't bring myself to trade in a truck I bought brand new for a 3 year old truck with 30k plus miles for basically a wash cost wise.. GM really missed the mark on some things on these new trucks... If I could add tilt wheel and power adjust pedals I think I'd be able to move on OR at least adjustable pedals ffs..
  5. Was given a rough offer of $44k for my 2020 RST that had a 51k sticker which I paid $40k for 6 months and 11k miles ago. Problem is no deals on the very limited inventory in my area plus unless I upgrade to an LTZ or HC which is way outta my price range, my truck has everything I want except I’d prefer a different color but, that’s not worth it IMO. I’d guess this bubble will burst by 22 and I’ll be glad to owe less on my current truck when the next economic down turn rears it’s ugly head.
  6. It’s partially due to the shortages partially due to the inflation we are experiencing due to the economy being screwed up and screwed with due to the rona. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. I’d prob just have a solid window installed by a reputable glass shop on your 19. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Very easy. Hardest part is finding a console. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. I’d say when it leaks have a solid window put in by a legit auto glass shop. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Yes there is a dealer option for that! It’s the 5.3L V8. Much like the guys who wanted to mod their K2 4.3s for more power I don’t understand why you’d buy the smaller motor just to mod it trying to achieve what the optional motor offers from the factory ? When I bought my K2 the 5.3 was a $600 option with incentives, you’ll spend that on mods in no time on the base motors. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Swapped in a center console in my RST. The jump seat storage wasn’t enough for me and the arm rest wasn’t as comfortable. I traded a guy who wanted the jump seat so it was good for both of us. I think it should be a standalone option on all trims. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Yes it does, fits like it was there from the factory. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. It is super easy to install. The trick is finding one. Buying all the parts from GM is about $850. You can sell the jump seat on eBay for a few bucks too. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. You can get the center console with cloth in an rst Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. Def on my short list to do this on my rst. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
