  1. I saw Comp Cams make 3 different grinds for the gen V DI engines. I read an article on a swap in a new LT1 Vette with the biggest cam. It also needed the VVT limiter, new valve springs installed and a custom tune. If there's enough cam swaps out of vettes there should be factory LT1 cams out there for cheap that would be more of a direct swap for the L83 without messing phaser. Sorry about the double post...

  3. Out of everyone that has put a cat back on, what about the flex pipe that the stock had? Do all cat backs have this?
  4. Mine has awful shifting into 2nd either up or down shift. Sometimes it's OK. Last time I took it in I asked to check latest TCM software he said it had latest. My truck was built in July and have had since end of July can't believe they haven't come out with anything to improve this.
  5. Love they way that sounds. I want to do a single, 3" pipe, custom cat-back and probably go with a Magnaflow due to the fact they are stainless, many different choices and less expensive compared with a Borla. My question is oval vs. round muffler? I would guess if I went with round I would need a little longer one than a 18" oval to get similar sound results? Opinions please. I watched the Magnaflow youtube video with their cat-back single pipe system for the '14's and it was too quiet but that was a 22"muffler.
  6. mzodarg- with the muffler delete does it sound good? I'm not looking for loud but a nice rumble, a guy posted a video of his truck under the topic "muffler delete" and I love the way that sounds.
  7. I have the same noise at times too from right side under box with the Rancho shocks. The shock seems more likely the issue as it seems to happen on rougher roads which will make the suspension move quicker. I doubt it's fuel sloshing from having no baffles in tank, if there were no baffles the fuel would move away from the pickup tube and the engine would die every time you accel or brake.
  8. My seat is slightly warm with remote start but gets HOT when set on high. I have cloth seats. It's entirely possible that there may have been enough complaints on past models that the seat was too hot when using remote start and that'a why there are only slightly warm, but you would think that in the settings menu you should be able to pick the heat setting you want.
  9. Just had my 2014 Silverado Crew Cab4x4 6'6 " box 3.42 rear end to dealer for vibration but this happens at approx 30 mph at 3000 rpms under moderate to heavy acceleration coming out of a turn but they couldn't duplicate it. I also have noticed the tach surging when in 4 cyl mode at 1000-1200 rpms when going up slight incline but forgot to mention it to them. Have not noticed the vibration at 60 mph and up and I have Goodyear tires not sure which model. 3100 miles on truck but I have a topper so maybe the extra weight of that makes it not noticable. I also complained about a large hesitation when going up hill, letting off gas then trying to accelerate. The truck will do nothing to accelerate for at least a second (seems like forever) then will take off like nothing happened. Only happened twice. The dealer said it normal so the trans gears don't slam into each other. I think otherwise.
