  1. Like, actual GM Private Offers or do you just mean having every dealer known to man contact you and try to sell you a truck?
  2. Has anyone been able to get a Private Offer to pop up?
  3. I despised the 8sp on my former 2016 Sierra. I could never get it to shift 'right.' Then a tree fell on the truck and totaled it so I tested the new 10sp in a 2018 F-150 and was in love. Then 6 months go by and the parking sensors never worked so Ford bought it back and I placed an order for a 2019 Denali 3500HD with the true Alison. I should be happy now - not quite sure how the new 10 speeds on the HD's will turn out but I am happy with the tried and true Alison.
  4. Thanks everyone! I know they pop-up from time to time and I got one in the mail a few months back (expired already) so maybe someone is able to get one!
  5. Well, don't hold this against me but I went the dark side and bought a Ford F-150 last May after my 2016 Sierra 1500 was totaled by a falling tree. Fast forward seven months and Ford is buying the truck back on a Lemon-Law claim. The parking sensors still have yet to reliably work: sensors were replaced 4 times, wiring harness twice and the control computer once with a ton of reprogramming. I got fed up with it as it would display a massive "error" screen on the Navigation system and was embarrassing for such an expensive truck. I ordered a 2019 GMC Sierra 3500HD Denali and it would be sweet if I could get a Private Offer on it. Has anyone been able to get one to pop up on their website? I have been trying from different browsers, private browsing, clearing my cookies, etc but nothing has come up yet. If anyone gets something to pop-up, please let me know! I need it!
  6. I just spent the past two hours reading ALL 60 pages in this thread and I am still nowhere nearer to making a decision. I am not partial to keeping or removing the 1" front spacer. I want the best, most controlled ride possible. My opinions are this: COA #1: Keep 1" front spacer and install 5100's at stock height setting COA #2: Remove 1" front spacer and install 5100's at third height setting A 1" spacer is really nothing to begin with so I shouldn't have any issues. However, the higher the 5100 height setting, it appears the firmer the ride is - this is why I am partial to COA #1. However, with the 5100's being slightly longer than stock shocks, there might be suspension geometry issues adding them to my 1" spacer (albeit the issue seems minimal). I am installing these shocks because my stock ride sucks and I have the most uncontrollable 'porpoising' while towing. Final suggestion?
  7. I have a 2016 Sierra CC STD Bed, NHT with 1" level spacer in the front and a 1" lift spacer in the rear. I plan on keeping the spacer in both - what combination should I go with? 4600's in front and 5100's in back?
  8. So how lean was it running when you ran with the stock tune? I'm getting a lot of sh*t for my plan of Kooks 1 3/4" with GREEN cats and a stock tune.
  9. I spoke with the GM Performance engineers at the U.S. Nationals this past weekend and I was told to expect these kits to be available around Christmas.
  10. 4 tons of wood pellets, Air Lift Ultimate 5000 air bags at 55psi, trailer weight of 2000lbs. Towed very well after I removed the weight distributing trunion bars which I think were causing some bucking. Below is before I pumped up the air bags.
  11. I have Air Lift Ultimate 5000 Air Bags that I did not inflate for this quick trip. Yes, I loaded the tractor up poorly - next time I will back it on the trailer to get the proper weight distribution. The tow was very tail-heavy and I should have taken more time. This week I am picking up 4 tons of wood pellets so that will really test the truck. I will load it properly then!
