  1. I have had mine for about 11 months now. I think it is V1 or V2 however. It works great. Maybe too good in the winter. I have to empty it about every 3-400 miles in the winter. It is 95% water, but still fills up really quick. I am not complaining, because that is moisture that is not going into the intake manifold. During the summer, I can go several thousand miles between emptying it as it collects mostly oil and sludge in the summer. I am thinking that down in Arkansas, you won't experience the moisture problem nearly as much as we do up here in Wisconsin. For the money, I think it is a a great buy.
  2. But, is the normal size the smaller ports along with 3/8" hose for our trucks?
  3. Do I use the large or small ports on the catch can for my silverado Sent from my SM-G920R4 using Tapatalk
  4. I already purchased one from another Ebay vendor for $63. The real thing. Not a copy. I don't know enough about catch cans to venture into the "just as good" market. I got the ADD W1 due to online recommendations and reviews along with the reasonable price. Thanks for the tip however. Maybe someone else will pounce on that.
  5. OK, that is what I thought, but I only saw members with later model trucks participating in the thread.
  6. I know this thread is over a year old, but I am considering purchasing an ADD W1 ver 1 catch can for my truck. But, are they only useful on the 2014+ trucks or are they beneficial on the NNBS (2007-2013) trucks?
  7. Funny, I was reading this thread thinking when is someone going to actually answer the OP's question. Finally, the last post, someone does.
  8. I have found that my local GM dealer does that fairly regularly. They did that on the first (free) oil change I had done on my truck. I was worried they might be doing it to make up for a possible oil consumption issue that the AFM motors seem to have. But they have done it to my wife's Cobalt as well. They are probably just putting in the capacity of oil for that vehicle where, in reality, you never get all the oil out when you drain it. And the oil change shops probably don't wait around to let it drip as long as an owner would. However, anything more than a half quart over filled is just ridiculous. That is why so many people choose to do their own oil changes when it is nearly the same price as having it done. They do my wife's Cobalt for $22 with Mobil Dexos certified Dino oil.
  9. Towing a Truck?....Hmmmmm, that just seems wrong from the get go.
