  1. could possibly be a front strut, mine made a popping noise like something was loose. Dealer replaced the front driver strut and it fixed the issue.
  2. I had to remove my shackles I bought for my truck the shackles everyone is selling are for the 07-13 models even though they are listed for the 14's The shackles on the 14's are a tad bit wider, so when putting the older body shackles on, it allows for the shackles to rock back and forth making a popping noise when turning or backing up. I have a picture somewhere of my shackles but can't post it here at work.
  3. Ughhhh. Lol I'll probably have it professionally done.
  4. here it is with the rear adjusted to the 6" position.
  5. Haha I messaged them too, I specifically asked "is this the grille ONLY or does it include the headlight trim?" he replied and just said "YES" YES WHAT? lol
  6. I was so excited when I found this GM aftermarket part. but now i'm just annoyed. lol
  7. Yes you would be right, but that wouldn't be the first time we would be mislead by something we saw on the internet. Technically the headlight trim isn't made to be removed, but can, its more of a custom mod. In my opinion everything seems to point to the fact that its just the grille, I would think a color matched headlight trim would be more along the lines of a custom color matched set of headlights.. This page from chevy's official site, refers to it as just the grille, if that's the case its dumb as hell.. http://www.chevrolet.com/silverado-1500-pickup-truck/accessories.html
  8. Got my 3/5 DJM kit on today. Going to take the rear lifting shackles that came with the kit and put the stock shackles back on for a total of a 3/6 drop. I had used my 1/4" aluminum block in the rear with the flip so it sits up about 3/4" high right now. Without that block and the stock shackles it should sit perfect.
  9. anyone find out? I can't for the life of me get someone to look into it.
  10. Do you know if this includes the headlight trim? Everyone i've talked to seems to think its just the grille surround
  11. Anyone using a rear flip kit have problems with the rear wheels centering in the rear fenders? From what I have read is that all of the kits for the 14's are using the same parts that were for the previous generation trucks and the rear flip kit drop in the rear pushes the rear wheels towards the rear of the fender opening about 1". The only kit that doesnt do this is mcgaughys.
  12. Just ordered 3/5 DJM kit with upper and lower control arms, rear pinon adjustable flip kit and rear shocks.
