  1. Everyone- Spurshot is correct, if you are running extra lights up front for additional lighting you will need to have them going to the High Beam signal. I will be eventually adding a 20 LED light in the slot above the license plate for Deer Season purposes, and at that point I will only run that through a relay and turning on when only the high beams are on. However, if you are like me and just want the fogs on no matter what, and especially when the parking lights are on run it through the #22 slot. I confirmed it this morning on the drive to work that as soon as I fired the truck up the fogs were on, and I switched to High and Low beam several times while driving in. No issues at all. Like I said before best 0.50 cent modification I have ever done.
  2. OK, well did the modification tonight. Instead of going to the High Beam, I went and ran my Diode into the 22 slot, which is the parking light signal. I tried the lights and everything functioned perfect. Lights on with Low Beams, High Beams, and when switched to parking lights they stayed on as well. All I can say is best 0.50 cent mod ever!!!!
  3. Guys- Been ready all of these replys, and was thinking about the following. What about instead of running 2 diodes, (one to high beam, one to low beam), instead you run one to the parking lights. That away when those turn on the fog lights would then turn on. Thus not needing the 2nd diode, or having to turn them on ever again. Let me know if I am off base as I will be trying to complete this mod this weekend.
  4. All, need some assistance. I have a chance at getting some like new OEM 6" steps from the previous year trucks. I hate to buy them only to find out they don't fit. Can anyone for sure say if they will or not?
  5. Guys need a little help please. I have a 2014 GMC SLE Z71 crewcab shorty bed that I have already done a 2" level on the front and Firestone airbags on the rear. Here is my dilemma...The front of the truck sits at 38.5" and the rear sits at 40.5" with only 5psi in the airbags. I am thinking about adding a additional 1" lift to the front, but am very concerned about the ball joints wearing prematurely. As well as I am unsure if this is even possible. Please give me some options as the truck is nose diving bad.
  6. Well guys here she is leveled and new skins. I haven't discovered anything rubbing and the ride is incredible over those crappy Goodyears that come from the factory. Leveling Kit was a $40 Ebay 2" level kit, Aluminum spacer. Also New Nitto Terra Grapplers, yes they are wide 305/60/18. The look is awesome compared to factory. Here are the images. Got any questions just ask
  7. Sierra Crew 6" Chrome 20990095 Can anyone tell me if these will fit the new 2014 Sierra. They came off of a 2012 2500 Duramax Crew Cab. I can get them for a pretty good price. Thanks
  8. I emailed Sylvania about that very topic last week. The reply is as follows: "Here at Sylvania, at this time we have no intention on making the 9012 bulb in anything but the stock option. If a decision is made later to add the X-vision or Ultra we will let you know." Which to my response is, that sucks. Last night I was puling my 18' trailer home with a load of firewood home in the rain and fog. Not a comfortable ride because of the conditions, as the lights just didn't brighten up the road the way I would think a NEW truck should. I am definitely looking for something better than what GM put in.
  9. Who makes the step bars that are on your truck? I really like the look of those.
