  2. awesome write up! tried it with usb worked great. anybody know how to get this to work while driving??
  3. The weight distribution hitch if properly installed will keep everything level.
  4. Update: Fm worked fine at dealer today so working as normal was the response I got from service writer. They checked everything according to service writer. The truck was moved a total of 1km from the time I brought it in so it was not road tested. Anyway, worked fine for the drive home maybe they tightened something not sure but time will tell. The led issue was also looked at. They involved gm and gave me a case number. said some trucks work and others don't. Service writer said this is the first truck to have a complaint about this. I asked" first at this dealer" and he said no first for gm. I laughed and said this is a well known problem and certainly not the first time gm has heard this. I am in canada by the way.
  5. Brought truck in today for recall. Issues I want addressed are: led lights on knobs, slight vibration in steering wheel and fm reception. When I told service rep the fm reception might be due to bad coax cable he didn't really know what I was talking about. I said these trucks are known to have bad reception. He said it is the first he has heard of it. Service guy next to him said he knows of someone with same prob. Told him if they can't figure it out to give me a case number. Let's see what happens.
  6. So Kristen a. Do you report these concerns to gm or do you keep them to yourself. I am wondering because I had a live chat with gm care and apparently gm is not aware of any problems with fm reception, according to the rep I spoke with. It would be nice if these concerns that have lots of traction be brought forward to gm engineers or decision makers in order to come up with a resolution. I was under the impression that it was being done this way. Guess I was wrong
  7. So what exactly do the gm customer care reps that respond to concerns on this site do? Can any gm care rep. Respond and let us know if gm is aware of this? What is the rep role when concerns are brought to this forum?
  8. Tried to cut and paste comment from Kristen a. from gm customer care and can't seem to get it on this post. This message is for her or anyone else from gm that cares to comment. You can help us all out by letting us know what gm knows about this issue and what they plan to do about it.
  9. That sure would show some commitment. I don't imagine it will happen.
  10. Just got out of 2010 f150 because I wasn't pleased with the service I was getting and some reliability issues with the vehicle. This is my first chev and hope this is not a sign of things to come. Led and fm reception are an issue for me right now.
  11. Figured when Jennifer and Jonathan got so quiet. They must know but didn't want to tell us in this forum.
  12. The reception in this truck is the worst I have ever owned!
  13. Middle of December Jonathan and Jennifer posted that gm is working on lights on knobs resolution. Haven't heard anything from either one since.
