  1. 2014 2LTZ Z71 6.2 3.42. Black leather, split bench, sliding rear glass, sunroof, nav, bed lights, 265/65r18 BFG AT KO. Gm Borla kit and air dam removal to be done soon.
  2. 265/65r18 BFG AT KO's. No level. Got the GM Borla kit in the mail today. Thinking about taking the air dam off.
  3. Chapman huh? Im originally from JC. Live in NV now.
  4. By the way I found this clip. Sounds great and how a 6.2 should have sounded from the factory in my opinion. I would like to know how v4 is with this setup.
  5. How is it in V4 mode? Also, what size are the tail pipes coming out of the muffler? Thinking about modifying the rear exit system for a side exit if I go with the GM setup.
  6. Fantasized about what I want to do to it today. Ive been sitting here reading this thread looking at all the mods. Here is a pic of when i picked her up in April. I left back to work overseas in May with 1500 miles on it sitting in my garage and an itch to scratch. I plan on a Line-X renew over the crappy Rhino Liner the dealer installed. (I specified Line-X) I had Line-X in my 07 and it was like armor. The Rhino Lining started marring with a small load of firewood on a camping trip. Junk. Either that or pay to have it stripped and Done with regular Line-X. Other mods will be to replace the chrome handles and mirror cap with black plastic, remove the chrome belt molding, a 6.2 badge on the tailgate and remove the air dam. Undecided on Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks for a 1" or 1.5" level, or sticking with the stock suspension setup. I will be replacing the junk Goodyears in either the stock 265/65r18 size or 285/65r18 BF Goodrich AT KO's. I want the snow rating on the tires living around Lake Tahoe. Was on the I-70 a snowstorm around Vail Colorado in my 07 with snow rated KO's and everyone was sliding off the road except me it seemed. I would go with 275/65r18 or 275/70r18 but they do not meet the snow rating. Also undecided on the Exhaust. I would love to go with a kit but leaning towards installing my own semi custom setup in my shop after clamping the flapper open a while to see what kind of drone it produces. The 6.2 is too quiet for the power it produces. A few more weeks and ill be home!
  7. Heres mine. Picked it up on Friday. I wanted an LT but couldn't pass up the 6.2. From there it took a life of its own when I ordered. fully loaded, 6.2 sunroof, sliding rear, black leather, 40/20/40, (I dont like a center console) bed lights trailer package w/ 3.42 rear gear. The biggest disappointment with the truck is somewhere in the ordering process the trailer brake controller was omitted. I think I will be able to learn to live without it. There is a good possibility that it will never be needed. The dealer made good on it with a decent trade in value on my 07 and having the Line X done no charge tomorrow. Edited to add that I went through my first tank of gas. 17.3 mpg average driving between Gardnerville/Carson City/Reno NV area. Thats mixed driving at elevation and I punched it a few times. Very happy with gas mileage with the 6.2 and this truck overall.
