  1. I've looked high and low for a part number for the 2022 AT4 console lid with the recess but without success. I can find 2022 Limited armrests but not the refresh. Anyone here have access to GM's internal parts lists?
  2. Same issue here started a week or so ago when I turned it on on a cold day. Seems to go away after about 30 seconds but definitely not what you want to hear right behind your head.
  3. Just returned from the dealer after having a similar problem on my 2019 AT4. Mine is\was a bit different in that I had noticed it doing a hard misfire (not recorded in ODB) at stop lights. Putting it in gear, holding the brake and running the RPM's up to 1,000 and it started having a very noticeable missing. Five minutes later I got a check engine light. Connected my reader and found code P1005. Took it to the dealer and they cleared the code per PIT5636 (which came out in October of 2018 and there is not yet a fix) and sent me out the door saying if a fix came in they would call. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2018/MC-10147375-9999.pdf Now granted this just started on this truck but no fix since October 2018? I don't know about the rest of you but I'm not going to accept a 65K sticker price AND an engine that has a profound miss. If any of the GM folks who watch this forum have any advise on how I can go about getting this corrected it would be greatly appreciated.
  4. Did my free oil change and tire rotation (6,100 miles back in July) at the purchasing dealer (have purchased 4 vehicles from them here in Texas since 2014) and specifically asked for Mobil 1. They advised it would be an additional charge to which I agreed. About an hour later, truck was finished and I loaded up and headed home. Fast forward to last week driving to work I get the low oil message in the DIC so instead of grabbing a quart and throwing (current mileage on the oil change was 5,600) it in on top of the old oil I picked up some Mobil 1 and a filter and proceeded to do a change. Long story short the oil level was down to 6 quarts. Now either 1) I have an oil burn problem 2) the tech who did the free oil change didn't put 8 qts in it 3) my 6.2L didn't like what oil they did use (which was probably not Mobil 1 as requested since there was no additional charge and nowhere did the work order say Mobie 1. On top of all of this when I got the truck back after the free oil change there was a small amount of oil spilled under the hood as well as some streaming down the drivers fender. Two weeks later I also found damage to the right rear wheel (gouge in the metal) very near the center. I have no way to prove it but I know for a fact that I've been the only driver of the truck since taking delivery and know that I've not hit anything, let along anything that would do damage to near the center of the wheel. Needless to say, I didn't give them a good review when I got the survey GM sends out. I also emailed the salesman who said he would pass along the info to the service manager (to this day I've not heard a word from him). I've always been happy with the deals I get from the sales department but needless to say I won't take anything back to the service department at that dealer. Apologies for turning this into a rant.
  5. Yep, same issue here. I was beginning to think it was just mine.
  6. I do a lot of bank fishing and don't like carrying my keys with me in case I'm a bonehead and somehow inadvertently pull them out of my pocket and drop them somewhere along the bank. On my previous trucks I'd just throw the keys up under the rubber bed mat and leave it at that but with the 2019's FOB I was worried like you if leaving it in the bed would be a problem. I started placing them in the gas door area and found that in order to activate the buttons on the door handles to unlock the truck you had to have the FOB in hand. Not sure if its a motion thing but it seems that the truck may be able to sense if the FOB has been in motion (proximity sensor?) before it will allow an unlock. In any case I picked up a 3M hook at Lowes and stuck it in the top of the gas door well for simplicity and now just hang them on the hook.
  7. Not when someone pushes a Lowes cart up to your front passenger tire and you enter the vehicle from the drivers rear and don't see it. Fortunate for me it only struck this piece when I moved forward and didnt hit sheet metal.
  8. Just replaced this exact part (you can find the number on the under side of the part when you take it off. The number is the same for passenger front and drivers rear). Part number 84173417, $27.55 plus shipping of around $8 from firstchoicegmparts.com. I removed and replaced my boards with a set of N-fab Podium steps and had been trying to sell the originals on Craigslist. Seems folks weren't interested at all with them having the cracked part so I figured what the heck, if I can spend $30 and eventually sell them, why not.
  9. I can't say enough good things about Xpel. Had it installed on my 2016 AT (wish I'd done it on my 2014 AT) and have it on my 2019 AT4 and my wifes Rubicon. On the 2016 which was black it held up well for me for nearly 3 years in the Texas sun. Like others have said, worth every penny.
  10. I went with the 13" black version. Seems to work great. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SLMH7MS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Photo of it installed below.
  11. I'm on my forth new GMC (plus my wife had a 2015 Yukon) since 2010 and I'm just about sick of GM's cheap tactics. The current 2019 AT4 I have had s sticker price 11K over my 2016 All Terrain and they've removed the adjustable peddles, sun glasses holder, adjustable seatbelts, storage compartment in the front doors, the OH Sh!t handles and turning signals in the mirrors. Granted, they have added a HUD, heated rear seats and rear A/C vents but really? 11K more then nickel and dime me on remote start on an app? What gives GM, are you really hurting that bad that you can't throw this small perk in for more than a month? What a kick in the nuts!!!
  12. I too think the aluminum look looks cheap on my AT4 and prefer the look of the rubberized ones the Silverados have. I pulled out the left side panel which has the headlight and transfer case controls and got the part numbers off to check prices and found one for $38 and the other for $31 online. I have not pulled the center stack yet to get the numbers off of the radio and climate switch so I don't know the costs of those but then again I have no way to cross reference the numbers with the corresponding ones used on the Silverado. Give the prices of the others I can't the center stack controls costing more that a total of $200 so I'm guessing for $200 - $300 you could swap them out if you just had the cross reference info.
  13. These look great and I want a set for my AT4. Where did you find them? I can't find anyone with them in stock and N-Fab has them listed as out of stock until June.
  14. Got a chuckle out of this one!! Thanks!!
